I think it's cool that switching to 2 year focus mean they can focus more on the DLC now, cause most of the OG AC DLC just felt like a side quest, so I'm glad they are taking the route of expansion rather than story DLC. But if this is the reason why they made a not so great ending in Shadow because the real ending is in the DLC, then I don't think that's a good thing either. I also don't like the idea of them adding so many macro-transaction including speed-up and outfits, I didn't played Shadows yet but I remember that started to become more common ever since Origin so I'm abit concerned about that.

Weapon wheel. Meditation to skip time. More combat finishers. Let us have more than 2 ally's at a time and an ability tied to circle/B. Seamless swap to Naoe/Yasuke and maybe even call in Yasuke like an ally and vice versa.
I understand they can’t please everyone with the direction assassin creed gone but why can’t they do 1 year they can add this whole rpg style with combat like what they got now then following year make the og assassin creed style where you felt like an assassin? That way you please most of their player base so it fair? To me that make sense from a business POV or even a remake/remaster similar to what cod did with infinite warfare and make it a bundle with a new assassin creed game so they please everyone and make their money? I know that may sound like a lot of work but it a win win to make their money.

Hi Ubisoft,
there seems to be a significant issue with HDR implementation in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. On an LG OLED with HGIG enabled (and after properly calibrating HDR on the PS5), the game appears far too dark. Shadow detail is crushed, midtones are muted, and overall luminance is extremely low – making the game nearly unplayable in darker scenes.
This suggests that either:
1. The game is not properly honoring the PS5 system HDR calibration,
or
2. The internal HDR tone mapping curve is poorly mastered (e.g. low MaxFLL, flat luminance distribution).
For comparison: Death Stranding 2, using the same setup with HGIG, looks perfect – detailed shadows, great contrast, and no artificial brightness boosting needed.
I strongly recommend reviewing the HDR pipeline and ensuring correct PS5 calibration handoff and tone mapping behavior. Right now, only with Dynamic Tone Mapping (DTM) enabled on the TV does the game look somewhat playable – but this shouldn’t be necessary.
Thanks in advance for your attention to this. HDR is not just a checkbox – proper implementation makes a huge difference in image quality.

We need a way to toggle NIGHT to better utilize stealth.
I love this world and find myself just wondering around taking in the sites and sounds. I wish there was a sit option for when I find some lonely dude sitting in the wilderness. I want to hang out with them but cannot interact at all. I've been done with the story and Platinum for a couple months now and still hope on each day to chill. Again, I'm in love with the setting on shadows more than any before… can't wait for new game+
please ubisoft patch the 40 fps mode which has a very ugly graphic glitch on the distance in the mountains where it makes a devastating graphic hum
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a huge FAIL for not casting a Japanese male protagonist in Japan. Ubisoft sucks.
