False, video games used to get better looking every year. That is not the case anymore. We are on a plateu. I'm sure the exact cause, if there is just one. I would guess one reason is, the games must be playable on xbox a ps5 consoles. That certainly limits game performance and maxes out memory at 16GB. Hopefully the next generation of consoles will have high specs, so we don't limit graphics for the next 6 years, again.

Graphics are important and the first thing players will notice when looking for a game, but it feels we are going backwards with certain things like interactions and physics.
