As if December 31, 2025, or January 1, 2026, depending on your region, wasn’t already filled with a number of gaming-related announcements, including the launching of Pokemon’s 30-year celebration, plus Persona’s own 30th anniversary website, Bloober Team decided to up and launch a new website teasing what we’ll assume is a new game.
If you have a minute and navigate all the way to remosdneulserorehsoovamceyerd.com, you’ll be met with a countdown clock ending 45 days from now, which is February 15.
As it stands, we know that the tagline is “Dare to peek into the darkness,” and some fans think they have a few ideas as to what the URL means when you unscramble things.
“Remove your old dreams, chosen seer” is the going guess right now among social media users.
As for what the game could be, well, that’s where things get complicated. We know that Bloober has been entrusted with remaking the first Silent Hill following their massive success with Silent Hill 2 Remake. We also still don’t have any resolution on whether SH2 Remake will get Born From a Wish as DLC.
If it doesn’t end up being SH-related, some think it could be Remothered, a remake of Eternal Darkness or a sequel to The Darkness, which we haven’t seen since 2012.
The Best Horror Games Are Cheap Nonsense
Janky indie games have the best scares money can buy – and it’s not even a lot of money.
Either way, it ensures that February will be one stacked month for not only game releases but announcements, too.
Get Your Rest In January, Because February Is About To Be Jam-Packed
Before we get into the games, it’s worth noting that this countdown will end on February 15, Pokemon will officially turn 30 on February 27, and there’s bound to be another update to the Persona 30th Anniversary website at some point in the month.
As far as games go, well, where do we start? Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined will kick off the month on February 5, and Resident Evil Requiem will close out the month on February 27.
But in between all that, you’re looking at another My Hero Academia game in the form of My Hero Academia: All’s Justice (February 6), Romeo is a Dead Man from Grasshoper (February 11), Mario Tennis Fever (February 12) and High on Life 2 (February 13).
That’s just the heavy hitters. As always, there’s bound to be one or two indie titles that steal all the attention, or a shadowdrop or two that help make what is already shaping up to be a monster month even bigger.
