While Borderlands 4 had a good launch and has some great beat-by-beat gameplay, it isn’t without its faults. The biggest one plaguing PC players is performance issues. Despite Randy Pitchford dismissing players, telling them to get refunds if they don’t like the game, the team at Gearbox has already put out a patch to address them.
However, there are other things, like the clunky UI and invisible walls that can’t be fixed so easily. While these are relatively larger issues, there are also some minor bugs that don’t really break gameplay, but give you a bit of a chuckle. The latest one to make us laugh is a bug that seemingly makes players’ pants disappear.
Borderlands 4 Bug Makes Vault Hunters Show Their Cake
As pointed out by PersonalityFree1213 on Reddit, there’s a rather hilarious bug that results in Vex riding around Kairos without any pants. There’s no clarity on why it happens, or if it affects any of the other Vault Hunters, but the picture they added makes it clear to see. As you probably expected, the comments section had a field day with this one.
While most of the comments were thirsty, others were hoping to figure out how the bug occurred, so they could try it on Amon. Some even suggested that OP chose a cosmetic colour that looks similar to Vex’s complexion, giving the illusion of her having no pants on. However, they shared another image in the comments which nullifies that theory.
One player even suggested that the bug could be occurring due to memory leak, as they noticed their weapon skins and textures take a bit of time to load. It seems like a minor enough bug for Gearbox to patch out quickly, so don’t expect it to be hanging around for too long.
It doesn’t look like the bug hinders your progress in any way. In fact, you won’t even see it unless you’re using a vehicle or during the brief third-person segments. But it is quite funny and fits in perfectly with the series’ humour.
