welp it looks like it isn't just the graphic novels that are "cancelled" it seems like the same happened to the secret artifacts book(again)now apparently and tbh i am kind of confused as to why the secret artifacts book was delayed like 7 different times to the point where it was delayed to 2050 however i did hear someone on twitter say that the 2050 date is a placeholder date(with a placeholder date being a temporary date that is used when scheduling events, often in a document or software application, to indicate where the actual date will be inserted later. It's a common practice in project management and software development to allow for flexibility and to reserve space before the final date is known) so its possible that the actual book itself isn't being released in 2050 and that the 2050 date is just a placeholder date but even then i am kind of confused as to why the actual book was delayed 7 different times.
Edit #1(8/8/2025): Also I honestly doubt that the book itself is being shelved permanently or anything like that, because
We know nothing about the actual book so far, so the book itself could just be being changed and fixed until Scott/Scholastic feel like it is good for them to release it rather than just constantly moving the date further and further and getting peoples hopes up.

Hopefully the TftP graphic novel delays are so they can update the art, and aren't outright cancellations. The art we've seen for the Submechanophobia adaptation was honestly incredible.

Ngl I would go crazy for a graphic novel of Fetch, Out of Stock and Lonely Freddy, well maybe they wouldn’t do Fetch because of Dare’s severed finger and The Dad’s head wrapped in a sheet in the bathroom, but still would be cool. I also REALLY want Out of Stock as a Graphic Novel because, it has a good story to it and I’d hate to see it not be in graphic novel form, but hey that’s just my opinion, not like anyone cares.

Honestly im surprised that a graphic novel delay/cancellation didn’t happen all the way back when they did fazbear frights graphic novel adaptations because that ugly pig like abomination of a plushtrap chaser should’ve cancelled any further graphic novels being made
to be fair adding another endo would probably make it a decent bit more expensive (plus they'll probably release a box with a single endo for like 10 bucks)
