Dead by Daylight Dungeons & Dragons Crossover Revealed

Behaviour Interactive has announced a Dead by Daylight Dungeons & Dragons crossover, with the hugely popular tabletop franchise seemingly making its way to the multiplayer horror game sometime soon.

Dead by Daylight is well-known for its crossovers; it’s teamed up with franchises like Alan WakeChild’s Play, and Hellraiser in the past, but this crossover is perhaps the first of its kind for the game.

We don’t know much about the crossover yet; all Behaviour has revealed is a very short teaser (so short, in fact, that it takes the form of a YouTube Short) that features one of Dungeons & Dragons‘ most iconic monsters.

Dungeons & Dragons won’t be Dead by Daylight‘s first crossover.

In the short trailer (which we can’t embed here), which is entitled “Listen closely to the voice in the darkness…”, we see a set of bars, against which a monster suddenly bashes its head.

The monster is a Beholder, as you can tell from its massive single eye and gnashing mouth. The trailer also features the terrifying sound of the Beholder’s screams, followed by sinister laughter.

We’re invited to learn more on May 14th, which is when the Dead by Daylight eighth anniversary showcase will air. Looks like we’ll learn more about this crossover then, and probably more besides.

That showcase will be available to check out via Behaviour Interactive’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, so make sure to tune into it if you want to know everything that’s new in the world of Dead by Daylight.

The Nurse in Dead by Daylight
There’s plenty of scope for spooky shenanigans in the Dead by Daylight Dungeons & Dragons crossover.

If you’re not familiar with Dead by Daylight, it’s an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game in which a team of Survivors must work to escape from the clutches of a Killer.

The game features a mixture of original characters and figures from popular horror franchises like AlienResident Evil, and Silent Hill, among many others.

You can check out Dead by Daylight right now on…well, pretty much every platform going. Stay tuned for all the news from the upcoming eighth anniversary stream!
