Mega Diancie is a Rock and Fairy type Mega Evolution of Diancie. Diancie can Mega evolve into Mega Diancie. Evolving Mega Diancie costs 300 Mega energy the first time, and 60 energy every other time. Mega Diancie’s best moveset is Rock Throw and Rock Slide. It is weather boosted by Partly Cloudy and Cloudy weather, and it was originally found in the Kalos region.

Diancie and Carbink are intrinsically linked in Pokémon lore, which Diancie is not an evolution of Carbink, they are considered related. Both are known as the Jewel Pokémon, and currently Diancie is the only known Mythical Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution. In Pokémon X Diancie’s Pokedéx entry states that Diancie is:

‘A sudden transformation of Carbink, its pink, glimmering body is said to be the loveliest sight in the whole world.’
