DNF Duel Reveals Fourth Season Pass DLC Character Monk

Nexon and Arc System Works have announced the fourth DNF Duel DLC character to grace the fighting game’s season pass, and it’s none other than the righteous Monk.

Monk joins the three other season pass characters released for DNF Duel so far, namely Spectre, Brawler, and Battle Mage.

We don’t have a release date for Monk yet, but he’s likely to land either this month or next, if the release schedule Nexon and Arc System Works have roughly stuck to for the previous three characters is anything to go by.

Monk is DNF Duel‘s fourth season pass character.

In his brief introduction trailer, we see Monk’s righteous fury as he gets ready to deliver a punishing blow using a mechanical gauntlet.

Previous DNF Duel DLC characters have received followup trailers demonstrating their moveset and combat style in greater detail, so we’re likely to get something similar for Monk in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, though, you can check out Monk’s rather beautifully-animated introduction trailer, which gives a flavor of what kind of character he’s going to be, right here.

If you’re not familiar with DNF Duel, it’s a one-on-one fighting game that belongs to Nexon’s hugely successful Dungeon and Fighter franchise.

Created by Guilty Gear -Strive- and Granblue Fantasy Versus developer Arc System Works, DNF Duel features many characters based on advanced classes from Dungeon & Fighter Online.

It’s also got Arc System Works’ distinctive anime-inspired visual style, so if you’re a fan of the aforementioned Guilty Gear -Strive- or Granblue Fantasy Versus, you’ll probably enjoy it, even if you’ve never played a Dungeon & Fighter game before.

DNF Duel is available right now for PC via Steam, as well as PlayStation consoles and Nintendo Switch. The latest season pass character, Monk, has no release date yet, so stay tuned for more on this and all other things DNF Duel-related.
