The Game Awards 2025 just wrapped — and Nintendo fans actually had things to get excited about this year! Even though some of the biggest reveals (like Control Resonant, Highguard, and Tomb Raider Catalyst) skipped the Switch 2 logo, we did get several brand-new announcements AND major updates on games already confirmed for the system.

a.) Defend your castle 🏰. Travis Touchdown ( no more heroes). Wii, Wii U. to Switch 1.
b.) Gallant Ledgoins and, Gallant Ledgoins Dark. From Atari. Sony has the rights to these games.
c.) 3D Raymond game
from Ubisoft. Raymond collection 1, 2 and, 3; for Switch 1, would be appreciated.

Zero excuse for any of those games that didn't have a Switch 2 version-especially with Xbox dying. The Tomb Raider omissions were the most surprising. AC Shadows shows it can handle any of these games. Some third parties just suck…all there is to it. Not wanting to be on the top selling system is bonkers to me.
That’s why I can’t main a switch 2, it’s always missing out so annoying. I switched to Xbox Ally X instead of Switch 2 and now I can play everything.
When will ⬆️⬇️ commentong gamers finally let go their addiction to graphics rating only?…. sheesh… just shutnit and play a game for the fun and not for "the true next gen feeling" 😒

I hate when people says "that looks like a 'insert old console here' game" or "that looks so many years old." I love when developers just focus on making a good game and don't worry about trying to push graphics. Graphics aren't everything.
Strangely Bradly The Badger was actually the highlight for me. The concept sounds like Gex on steroids

i'm really hoping the Star wars galatic racer , be a nintendo switch 1 and 2 game , im not happy with Nintendo ,because they got way ahead of them selves ,they should of waited for the Switch 1 completely , dies out and dont work no more
Keeping fingers crossed for a S2 release of Star Wars Fate of the Old Republic, knowing it’s 5 years out at least. Or likely to never be heard from again 🤣
I don’t usually like game awards but at least I saw a couple of cool things. Pragmata for switch 2 was the best part of it for me and of course Megaman returning. Hope to see more Megaman in other series though besides the classic ones. I didn’t think anything Nintendo would be there for anything anyway besides some sizzle reel or upcoming games.
The orbitals game looks interesting but I am not much of a fan of split fiction games though. The phasmophobia game looks good. I don’t know if I will get it or not though. I am surprised square Enix didn’t have any kind of announcement there whatsoever. Really bizarre to me since I have been hearing nothing but heavy rumors about it.
Hum… I dont know…. Nintendo 2 is still on hold for me… very disappointing..
