Nintendo have mainly sold 9.57m copies of Mario kart because the console came with it .. the Mario kart edition console have out sold the standard edition by millions , got my switch 2 at the weekend and cant get off it .. great console so far
Here's a take: People are buying MK World and DK because there's literally nothing else on the system that makes it unique. The Switch 2 is nothing more than an expensive selected games emulator with a couple of exclusives that in all honestly could have run on the o.g. Switch.
I've said it many times and I still have the same feelings 8 years on… I'm not a fan of Switch and I've had a constan love/hate relationship with it and the social media waffle surrounding it., I was wary of buying it when it came out. I want the Switch 2 even less.
Nintendo is killing it regardless of the haters. Plus huge Animal Crossing update fans wanted coming, now please rethink Mario Maker 2 and do same thing. WE WANT IT!!!! Then a Maker 3D soon after.

The numbers speak for itself. People are still buying the Switch 2 so. I know people were mad about the pricing but honestly I think it was an overreaction because not all games have been $80. There's actually a lot of variety in the pricing and people will pay for what they value
I didn't want to like it, but I've come to really like the switch 2. We must remember the Switch is the 2nd generation of the Switch and NOT the next version major hardware launch for Nitendo. It plays old Switch / Nitendo games super well. It has great network connectivity. A great Pro Controller. Good hardware. A good screen and a better GPU than the first generation and should be good enough for the next 3 years.

Pokemon Z-A is not bad to be honest, the core gameplay with the real time battles is the best in any Switch era Pokemon game. It’s quite repetitive and stuck in the same environment the whole game though.

Good video. I don’t understand why you would hate or love a game console excessively, either. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. If you love it, buy it and enjoy. There’s nothing else to it.

It really feels like switch 2 was delayed 2-3 years, so they could sell you underperforming games just to sell you upgrades/new versions later. How many of the first party titles from the last 2 years have or are getting switch 2 versions. To many and now they are being rewarded for weaseling fans out of money and selling underproforming games.
Cant wait for the Switch 2 lite.. if they can keep it small.. 🔥

Don't sleep on Z-A mate. I'm an old school Pokemon fan, got Red on release date and I went into Z-A blind. Initially I was a bit butt hurt because it wasn't the Pokemon I wanted, then I quickly started getting into it and now, well I love it. It's a fantastic game.
I don't think much has changed for the Switch 2 IRL (except further sales forecast increases) but here's hoping that the grifters finally stop showing up in my recommended section. That WOULD be a very welcome change!

I honestly saw a dude who said that Nintendo doctored this numbers, because "everyone is hating Nintendo right now", so it's impossible for this numbers to be real. The length some people will go amazes me 😂
I own one, I regret it. We played Donkey Kong and Mario Kart for a week and are already bored with it. Wish I bought anything else with my $500.
The thing about this discourse of "oh, they're always in stock, it's not selling" is that it is so short-sighted that they can't see the value in being capable of selling every unit possible to everyone that wants one. People can't understand how much impulsiveness plays a role when you are buying something. If you have any friction whatsoever, you go home and never think about it again. But if you go to the store and the unit is there, you get one and go home. You just realize it was an impulse thing months later when you see you're not playing. Nintendo made a genius move there scaling the production to this degree. Every person that wants one can have one.
With the new Pokemon game that just came out, I bought a used Legends Arcaus for pretty cheap for our Switch2! I still haven't hooked the Switch 2 up to the tv…. lol But we're buying more remotes to play Mario Kart with the kids, soon. Fun game!!!

Here is the deal! Nintendo cooks when they want to. The system is and always will be a game changer. It started the new handheld market got valve to innovate and release the deck, so let’s face it if you want to have a portable system deck or switch you cannot go wrong. Yes games are expensive on the switch but we want those exclusives so either we pay or we don’t. I’m very pleased with the Switch 2 even with the valid faults it still delivers in my humble opinion! Remember gaming is supposed to be fun so have fun!
I guess the negative way to spin this for me would be the fact how strong Nintendo fan boy demographic actually is. Like imagine a horde of 10 million zombies buying out the switch 2s and pokemon ZA. There is not enough normal sane people to be able to show Nintendo that there should be more consumer friendly practices. Because whatever they do now seems to be working..
I am still so sour about switch 2. Never in my life did I have a real game console that is relevant, you know. I was hoping to get a switch 2 and be in the center of the action with all cool new stuff. But what will I play there if I get it? Kirby DLC… Maybe DK, but I don't have money to sustain this corporately greedy lifestyle. I am sad.
