Developer and publisher Level-5 has released a new update for life sim RPG Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, and it’s got a brand new roguelike open-world area for you to explore, plus more.
As revealed in a news post on the game’s official website, the update is now available across all platforms on which Fantasy Life i is available (although the versions are technically different between PC and consoles), so you can jump into Snoozaland right now if you’d like.
If you choose to do so, you’ll need to find a new “suspicious tent” in the Base Camp during (or after) Chapter 3, and coming across it will allow you to explore a brand new open-world area in which you’ll start at level 1 every time you re-enter, allowing you to test your might against a range of powerful enemies and bosses.
The update also adds the brand new Polishing feature, which allows you to use Fantasy Life i‘s crafting jobs to improve tools for other Lives. Doing so will give them a new aesthetic, as well as stat increases and the chance to trigger a boost effect during battle or minigames.
As you’d probably expect from a Fantasy Life i update, there are plenty of other changes as well, including an increased maximum number of Islander Houses you can build, as well as various other gameplay adjustments and tweaks.
You can check out a trailer for the Fantasy Life i Snoozaland update, which gives you a sense of what kind of new features and changes you can expect, right here.
The update comes on the heels of Fantasy Life i proving a (perhaps unexpected) success for Level-5; the game managed to sell a million copies within just a couple of weeks, and it’s not Level-5’s only success this year, either.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is available now for PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S, and both Switch 2 and Switch. The Snoozaland update is also out, and you can download it right now.
