Fisch 2nd Sea patch notes
Here’s what’s new with the 2nd Sea update in Fisch on March 29, 2025:
- Cthulhu Boss Fight… Defend the legend of Oscar, and defeat Cthulhu and his cult to enter the 2nd sea…
- Max Level in 2nd Sea is now 2500, it’s maxed in Sea 1 at 1000 still.
- 7+ New Rods with some amazing new passives!
- 7 New Islands… Explore them and meet plenty of new NPC’s.
- Catch 100+ New Fish including multiple new bestiaries!
- Plenty of Cutscenes to learn more about the Fisch lore…
- Sea Leviathan is roaming Fisch! Catch it and defeat the powerful beast.
- New Quests in the 2nd Sea!
- New Cursed Egg purchasable in the 2nd Sea!
- New Cosmetic Crate purchasable for E$ in the 2nd Sea!

How do I get to 2nd Sea in Fisch?
Unlike what was shown in the trailer, you don’t get to the 2nd Sea in Fisch by speaking to the Sea Traveler NPC at Moosewood. In fact, he isn’t even there.
Instead, to get to the new 2nd Sea area, you need to find the Sea Traveler on the West side of Terrapin Island. Assuming your level is high enough, speaking to him will transport you there.
What is the 2nd Sea level requirement in Fisch?
Regardless, walk into the arched wall behind him to enter the Chuthlu fight area. Speak to the NPC at the gate and tell him you’re strong enough. This will let you enter without hitting the 250 level requirement.
Walk to the end of the hallway and through the door (even if it’s closed) to come across the fight entrance.
Wait in the portal until a new boss battle is ready to begin.
When is the Fisch 2nd Sea update release time?
Also known as the Cursed Seas update, the 2nd Sea Fisch update is set to launch at 3pm GMT. An in-game timer to the left of the Moosewood Shipwright will eventually end when the new area is accessible.
