Game of Thrones: Kingsroad (PC, mobile) is a free-to-play RPG that seems charming at first, but quickly becomes what you’d expect. Let’s talk.

Truly all they need to do is make a GoT game that’s actually open world. Create quests that lead to helping Jon Snow, or investigating rumors of strange rituals taking place in the ruins of Valeria (reanimation of Daenerys). Create a quest where you encounter Drogon, who attempts to attack, only for an option to hop on him and bond, because later in the story, it’s discovered you are a descendant of House Targaryen. Make it so merchants from Essos are searching for you also to take you out due to the history of Targaryens going mad. Jon Snow teams up to help you take the thrown. Create caves to investigate and loot with children of the forest inside, or clues to a potential new long night. There are so many thing they can do with a Goat game, and yet, they fail every time. The developers and people who are still involved with GoT have lost heart and are focused on the money.
If they were smart, they’d realize taking the time to pull off a good GoT game would result in a lot of money.
I don’t even have to quit my video game addiction, the developers and corporate greed will just ruin my appetite
I would love more of a SWTOR type of GoT MMO
Multi Billion dollar IP just want to point that out
Um, TellTale's GOT was great.
For years we've been waiting for a game that lives up to the Game of Thrones name, and finally… we're still waiting.
I still can't believe they havent made a huge open world rpg like kingdom come.
Shouldn't have even been a fucking free mobile game
You said archery is pressing X, but isnt this just a mobile game?
Telltale was great, what you talking bout?
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim A LOT BETTER THEN THIS GAME!
Just play mod from CK3 it’s the most faithful game of thrones experience
The north respects the nights watch…
Did u just say offline mmo? That's not a thing…
Thank you for the honesty very early into the video
Game of thrones ability to choose the worst partners for the IP is insane. Every single attempt is awful, the only minor hit was telltale.
kingdom come deliverance gameplay is the best way to go for a GOT game imo
It's looks almost exactly like assassin's creed valhalla
The combat reminds me of newer assassin's creed games
mount and blade acok is the best got game ever made.
I wanna play this but I don't know😭
i loved the tale tale version because of it i finally watched GOT i was very late watching it
I get assasins creed vibes from the mechanics
Imagine A Song of Ice and Fire game made by the people who made "Kingdom Come deliverance"
This franchise (my sanity) could really benefit from a Kingdom Come-style game with a dash of Larian’s layers of decision making.
Unfortunately, the best Game of Thrones game I’ve ever seen is crusader Kings, which is just a mod which is kind of sucks
5:16 they could've made it that YOU are the one who finds and helps Stannis arrive at the wall by helping him travel and clear the path ahead for the army to go relatively unnoticed. That could've make it so that after playing the game when you watch Stannis arrive to the wall in the show you think "hey, I did that" and it would fit in the story.
it should be free to play
I bought this game on PC, it doesnt have invert mouse… and it's very very, i dunno, i like it but it just feels like any other game, if you want a proper GoT game, Realm of Thrones for bannerlord is fire
Free to play games suck.
We need a Skyrim with game of thrones skin .. it woulda been everything.
