I have an express card. I’m looking at getting another for my two kids but honestly that’s why we get all games physical because storage be crazy. I haven’t even touched my storage card as i still have room on my actual switch 2 storage. But with the way things are going i might have to bite the bullet and pick one up for each kid just in case.😅
I fail to see the appeal of AI. It feels like a Temu switch
A little confused, so PC gamers are demanding 16 GB cards even in low to mid range GPUs, and yet, Valve is gonna be building & marketing a system with only 8 GB.
I still have more and more questions, such as about shared memory. This is a thing in consoles, such that, assuming its fast enough, large amounts of both RAM and VRAM should not be necessary.
There's also the enabling of poor coding along with higher memory thresholds, as well as if higher bandwidth can negate the need to have such high storage values.
As it is, my laptop has 32 GB of RAM and 6 GB 192bit VRAM. Tired, years old, barely used. Yet even now it's within 30% of the Steam Machine, minus optimizations.
It's just increasingly not worth chasing specs anymore

I will not be getting The Duskbloods because I will not give a single cent more of my money to Nintendo. I despise their anti-consumer practices, I will not ever consider getting a Switch 2.
512 micro sd express I think is around $75-80 on amazon right now, might be worth picking up with the warning signs in the air.
I was planning on buying ram for my PC from amazon early this year. 16 GB DDR4 were around 60-80 bucks. Now, they are somewhere between 150 and 300. It is crazy considering it is old speeds. I regret no buying them at the time….
Once again I am very happy with what I have. A Series S and a Mini PC That can play FF7 Intergrade. I just do not understand how any of this is justified. No more peeking into Best Buy I guess.

I had a lot of fun with Assassins Creed Shadows when it dropped. I’ve seen that they have made a lot of changes and added a lot of quest which I do think is cool but it’s hard for me to jump back in a game that size knowing that I’ll have to relearn controls and mechanics on top of learning new ones. If they added co-op multiplayer, I think it would be worth it, but I’m good at the moment.
Steam Machine & Steam Deck 2 are starting from $800 for lowest specs. My PS5 Slim & Switch 2 will have years of use so I didn't care much

I think you should make a "legacy" PC build guide. My 3060ti PC still runs fine and plays brand new games as long as im not using ray tracing. Maybe $600 tops fully built? I dont think high ends are as necessary as people make them out to be nowadays.

I just dropped 900$ on a rx 9070xt and a 32GB kit of ram. The ram isn't a brand I'm familiar with but it was 30cl at 6400 Mhz so im giving it a chance.
Reject AI now. Don't use thing apps companies that lean heavily on AI. It's hard but if you have to go to the library, to look up something, reject Google ai search. Going old school. LoL people won't do it but I would like to see the backlash happen
