Ghostwire: Tokyo, Tchia and more leaving PS Plus Extra

As with all game subscription services nowadays, titles are added and removed on a regular basis – typically monthly. With that, Sony has now revealed the next set of games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium – including the excellent Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Updating its ‘Last Chance to Play’ section on PS Plus (and as reported by PushSquare), Sony revealed a surprising list of well-received titles which will unfortunately be leaving the service next month – most likely on the 19th of March:

  • Civilization VI | PS4
  • Tchia | PS4, PS5
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo | PS5
  • NEO: The World Ends With You | PS4
  • Haven | PS4, PS5
  • Code Vein | PS4
  • Outer Wilds | PS4, PS5

As can be seen, the list of titles being removed include some heavy hitters as well as notable indies. It is interesting to see Ghostwire: Tokyo being removed as it was initially announced as a PlayStation exclusive – prior to Microsoft buying Zenimax Media that is.

Similarly, the indie hit Tchia was actually one of the few day-one additions to PlayStation Plus, landing on the service in March of last year. Fortunately, you still have around a month to play these titles before they are removed – I certainly will be hopping back into Tchia; Haven and Outer Wilds at the very least.

KitGuru says: What do you think of these titles being removed? Do you plan to complete any of these games before they leave? What’s your opinion on subscription services as a whole? Let us know down below.
