During Fanciful Fairy Hour, Trainers can expect boosts to the following wild Pokémon:

Ralts →Gardevoir→Mega Gardevoir

Mega Gardevoir

PsychicFairy

Max CP 5101
ATK 326
DEF 229
HP 169

Mega Gardevoir in Pokémon GO stands out as a powerful hybrid Fairy and Psychic type attacker with a max CP of 5101 at level 50, making it one of the top contenders for PvE raid battles. This combination not only provides excellent Psychic damage (Best Psychic-Type Attackers in Pokémon GO) but also makes Mega Gardevoir the premier Fairy attacker (Best Fairy-Type Attackers in Pokémon GO). Moreover, Mega Gardevoir has access to the charged move Triple Axel Ice, further enhancing its versatility in countering Dragons. Add Mega Boosts to you raid lobby and xl candy grind and you will certainly find Mega Gardevoir one of the more useful additions to your collection. Even Shadow Gardevoir is a pretty good albeit slightly expensive addition to your Fairy raid team.

Chansey →Blissey

Blissey

Normal

Max CP 3117
ATK 129
DEF 169
HP 496

Blissey lacks raid viability due to its extremely low attack stat, making it ineffective for dealing damage. Its strength lies in defense, where its enormous HP makes it one of the most reliable gym defenders in Pokémon GO. But its true weight lies in Max Battles where Blissey performs exceptionally well as a healer, keeping allies healthy throughout prolonged fights. It is also a great charger and healer in Max Battles, so grind that candy!

Popplio →Primarina

WaterFairy

Max CP 3618
ATK 232
DEF 195
HP 190

Primarina has drawn a bit more interest from PvP enthusiasts than PvE players in Pokémon GO, mostly thanks to its cool Water and Fairy typing which gives it some interesting play in certain league formats. While it doesn’t stand out among top tier Water attackers, the addition of Hydro Cannon gives it a significant boost in raid performance. This makes it a decent and affordable choice for players looking to expand or vary their Water type rooster.

DarkFairy

Max CP 3222
ATK 227
DEF 139
HP 216

The fabled duo of the event Hatterene and Grimmsnarl might not make the cut as top raid attackers, but they really shine when it comes to Max Battles, where their Gigantamax forms stand out. While G-Max Hatterene hasn’t been released yet, it’s not a bad idea to start preparing by farming both regular and XL Hatenna Candy now—you’ll be ready to power it up the moment it arrives. Meanwhile, G-Max Grimmsnarl is available in six-star Max Battles during the event (G-Max Grimmsnarl Guide), and catching wild Impidimps along the way can help stock up on XL Candy for future builds.

Mighty Pokémon Garchomp

RockDark

Max CP 6132
ATK 339
DEF 222
HP 239

Mega Garchomp, is ready to wreck raids in style! This mighty land shark doesn’t just look fierce—it packs serious power in both Dragon and Ground roles. Whether you’re tearing through Dragon weak bosses or zapping Electrictypes into dust, Mega Garchomp’s got you covered. As a Dragon type it sits just a step below Eternatus and Mega Rayquaza in pure damage (Best Dragon-Type Attackers in Pokémon GO), but its bulk helps keep that Mega boost active for a long time. Switching to its Ground type power, Mega Garchomp may trail behind Primal Groudon (Best Ground-Type Attackers in Pokémon GO) but here’s its ace: triple resistance to Electric moves, which makes it perfect against Electric type Raid Bosses.

Megas – New and Old
General icon

With spawns of Swablu and Clefairy, this is a great opportunity to setup some of your Mega Pokémon like Mega Altaria, and to prepare for the newest Mega Pokémon that debuted in Legends: Z-A – Mega Clefable. These Megas, along with their unique typings, provide a much helpful boosts to your raid lobbies and XL candy grinds.

Conclusion

As the Fanciful Fairy Hour unfolds, Trainers have plenty to look forward to—from strategic raid prep to some shiny new powerhouses. Mega Gardevoir and Mega Garchomp headline the show, offering incredible utility. While Blissey, Hatterene, and Grimmsnarl might not be top attackers, they’re absolute gems in Max Battles. Be sure to collect plenty of XL Candy and use those GO Safari Balls wisely to catch the best Mighty Pokémon out there. Whether you’re fine-tuning your raid teams or preparing for new Megas, there’s always something to look forward to. Get out there, prepare yourselves, power up your favorites, and enjoy all the fun this event has to offer!
