I didn’t love the FF7 Remake. Now the second part was great.
Man, it has me worried that they struggled to port FF7 Remake part 1 to Switch 2… It is the Intergrade version, so it's definitely more graphically advanced than the PS4 version, but Rebirth is the one I'm concerned for. They did get it running decent on steam deck and switch 2 is much more advanced than the steam deck.. so we'll see. Good thing we have DLSS!

I'm probably in the minority or the only one, but I hope FF7R from Switch 2 flops hard. Crazy for me to even say something negative for a game coming to a Nintendo system. Almost anything Hamaguchi-san said/says or anyone from SE is just bold face lies because they don't want to jeopardize their relationship with Sony and want to make some fake positive response regarding FF7R on Switch 2. Developing FF7R on Switch 2 was "worth the effort" and yet, they're releasing it as a game key card. Yes the file size of the game is huge, but at least CDPR with Cyberpunk 2077 was more transparent and made it possible on the cartridge with no sacrifices, and was very high quality. SE will do anything to get themselves out of their failures and their financial losses by making up some junk. This is all SE is now, the FF7 developer. FF1 – FF12 (Excluding FF14, 15, and 16) and every other game/IP is completely non-existent to them and them trying so hard to westernize their games and think always "taking risks" and making everything cinematic is gonna save them. Even a demo wouldn't get me interested in wanting to buy it. I'd just watch the cutscenes, and whenever part 3 comes out, same thing, and spoil the game for streamers.

I’m going to double dip on ff7… I’m buying the digital and the digital whoops I mean keycard 😂… to get the extras from both… I skipped this on ps5… so I’ll be playing inter grade for the first time on the switch 2
If SE never took a fat 💩 on their Final Fantasy fans, it would still be a series as big as any other today. Everything they did with 7 Remake "trilogy" is exactly why new gamers don't care about it. The hype alone IF they kept the series as great as it was from 4-12, it would still be a world class IP. Its sad they let it fall this bad chasing Western BS.
Now Metaphor Refantazio is everything Final Fantasy should have been imo, minus the open Overworld Map and Calendar system. Such a GREAT game, if they add new content in a Royale style, I'll bite that bullet.
If ff 7 remake (a ps4 game) was hard to optimise, I’m worried how they think they’ll have any chance of getting rebirth ported considering that game brought the ps5 to its knees. I really hope they can though

The whole argument about game key cards means we don't ever own the game is so petty unless you have no internet service and will never update your games. The only valid complaint and the one that we should be focusing on is because the game isn't on a cartridge and having to download games means we’ll be forced to buy a Micro SD card.
Nintendo should have done a bundle with a Micro SD, especially since the Express cards are impossible to find right now. Otherwise, this only became a problem because someone somewhere made a comment that the media picked up and reported on and it blew up, otherwise most of us wouldn’t even consider it at all. Yeah, games on cartridges would be nice, but it’s never going to matter 20 years from now when we all purchase the next system and rarely revisit this one. These games will be downloaded and on the Switch 2 if it’s handed down to kids, so the potential problem of not actually owning the game doesn’t even exist.
I haven’t played Metaphor yet, but the music is instantly recognizable and just fantastic. Atlus has my money on this one
I still don’t get it. I mean for PlayStation 4 it’s on sale for $15 & PS5 $25 when the physical copies are going for 25 to 30 at most stores. Because it’s a 5 year old game. $40 for a worse version nah.

I think it was Kit and Krista who mentioned that a YouTube video that is posted to go on YouTube and the separate YouTube kids app do not allow comments, which is probably why comments were turned off on that close to you video.
I hope Nintendo has multiple options for cartridge size at the time when the Switch 2 port of Metaphor: ReFantazio is in production. I bought the collector's edition of the PS5 release, and I'll buy the game again if it isn't on a Game-Key Card.
It's Pikmin. They dropped another trailer this morning, with the Pikmin visible. Question is why?
I have FF7 remake and Intergrade for PS5, and I'm so hyped for this on the switch 2. I'm in day one! Thinking about playing the original FF7 in front of my 12 year old so he can at least see what it's like and how amazing the remake is.
Not them just making another of the weird random video cause it is actually Pikmin 4
If Metaphor is going to be another lazy port like Persona 3 Reload, then no thanks.

FF7 Remake and Rebirth are really bad…
It's pretty, sure but that all, the rest is boring, they did everything they can to waste player's time with unnecessary stuff just to justify the price of a full game. They rewrite some part of the story that are now less impacting, they put Sephiroth everywhere for no reason, it's a struggle to play unlike the original.
There was an announcment on Nintendo Music saying there was no update next week. Last time they did this they announced Splatoon Raiders. Would could get Pikmin like announcment.
