How to Get the Railgun in GTA Online
As of the publishing date of this article (December 21, 2022), the Coil Railgun is still not available in GTA Online. Many players expect the weapon to appear in the game as early as January 2023.
This because of Rockstar’s decision to add pieces of the DLC over time, rather than all at once. It’s still a good idea to prepare yourself for this excellent weapon, since railguns are always impressively powerful.
The railgun will most likely be a part of the new traveling weapons workshop, known as the Gun Van. This workshop will never stay in one place, but constantly travel around the world map. Don’t worry about that, though, as the Gun Van will be clearly indicated on the map so you can always find it.
As for the cost of the Railgun, it could be a bit more expensive than its previous iteration, which had a price tag of $250,000. This means that buying a railgun shouldn’t be much of a problem in the new Los Santos Drug Wars DLC.
Many players will want to get the new railgun due to its impact on the PvP mode, where it is absolutely necessary to counter MK2.
