GTA 6 Fans Theorize Potential Endgame Completionist Rewards

Please be more than a t-shirt…

Let’s talk about rewards, shall we? Whether it’s in video games or real life, if you do something that is special, you often get a reward for your completion of the task. Numerous video games offer in-game rewards for doing certain achievements, even if it’s just a small pop-up saying that you “achieved something” in the game. Then, there are those who do completionist runs. They go into a game and do all they can to 100% beat it, even if it’s only to say that they did so. GTA 6 fans are curious about what will happen if they were to 100% the upcoming title from Rockstar Games.

On Reddit, one poster asked the basic question of:

“What do you think the rewards will be if you 100% completed the game?”

You might have expected players to come out of the woodwork to make suggestions for what likely will be the reward for doing 100% completion, but the honest reaction was either rather depressing in their answers, or confusion as to whether something like this could happen at all:

“Are there any memorable rewards for getting 100% in any rockstar game? I think I just remember getting ugly pieces of clothing lol.”

Yeah, that’s not exactly a lot, and others chimed in to note that Rockstar really doesn’t do those kinds of rewards, which is fine, as that’s their call. Others revealed that past games had certain “mission unlocks,” but they weren’t grand-scale ones. A few other posters stated that the only thing they got from the 100% achievement was…a t-shirt, and not even a good-looking one either! We definitely think that Rockstar Games can do better than that.

Then again, you could argue that they’re not required to do anything of the sort. Think about it like this, they’re working on GTA 6 pretty much non-stop until the game is done, right? So, with all the things they have to test, between the character models, the various interactions and animations, the special effects, the voice acting, the cutscenes, and so on, they have a lot to think about and test. Thus, the idea of a “super special reward” for someone who goes the distance and does 100% of the game really isn’t on their minds right now. That could be why past games haven’t really had that kind of reward.

Sure, this could be the one that breaks that trend, but it’s better not to get your hopes up.
