GTA 6 gets final trailer ahead of launch

Rockstar has released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, the final trailer before the game arrives on the 19th of November. The 90‑second video offers a clearer look at the story and introduces players to the two protagonists, Jason and Lucia.

The trailer’s description sets the tone for the narrative, outlining the pair’s struggle in Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. It describes Jason and Lucia as knowing “the deck is stacked against them”, and says that after a job goes wrong, they find themselves caught up in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida, forced to rely on each other if they want to make it out alive.

The new trailer features original music from French electronic duo Justice, who have composed the game’s score, Rockstar says. The studio has also confirmed that a new Justice single, Flower in a Hurricane featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, will be available on Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album, the game’s official soundtrack.

Rockstar states that the trailer was captured entirely on a PlayStation 5. Just like the recent Netflix gameplay reveal, this appears to have been recorded on a base PS5 rather than the PS5 Pro.

KitGuru says: The launch trailer gives the clearest look yet at GTA 6’s story. What did you make of it?
