Hades 2 is finally on consoles, giving Xbox and PS5 players one of the best ways to kill time. Besides the base game, the launch also comes with a whole bunch of new content that’s available to PC players as well. In terms of content, devs have added new interactions and Fated Prophecies, but one of them stands out from the rest.
Even in their earlier interactions, Melinoe and Icarus appear to have a connection, but while other characters are more than happy to form bonds with the daughter of Hades, Icarus is uncharacteristically afraid to fly too close to the sun. The latest patch makes it much easier for you to form a bond with the high-flying dreamboat.
Hades 2 Makes Romancing Icarus Easier
No matter how much Melinoe prods and pokes, the aerial bombardier bombshell seems unwilling to get into the hot tub with her. While he was playing hard to get earlier, the latest update ensures “Icarus now is less painstakingly reluctant when it comes to trying to forge a bond with him.” Hope you’ve kept some Bath Salts ready.
Hades 2 Patch 2 Highlights:
- Fated Prophecy Updates: Prophecies about characters such as Odysseus and Arachne now have new narrated conclusion scenes, which can be viewed in the Fated List once those Prophecies are fulfilled.
- Forever Gifting: Most Crossroads characters now can be gifted Bath Salts, Twin Lures, or Ambrosia indefinitely after forging a bond with them, in various brief new scenes.
- Going Steady: Characters with whom Melinoë can have non-Platonic relations may occasionally show interest in continuing to have such relations.
- New Dialogue Events: Many of the game’s characters have new things to say at various points throughout the story.
Besides new character interactions and decorations, the update also makes adjustments and improvements to your Nocturnal Arms, Boons and Blessings, and various other features in Hades 2. Homer will also bring closure to some of the game’s ongoing side-stories.
If you’re looking for a reason to jump back in after experiencing the game’s post-epilogue, Patch 2 adds a lot of new content and interactions for you to experience.
