This game is worth the $40. If you like co-op games you need to buy this ASAP.
This is literally the greatest game I've gotten in such a long time, I got it day 1 on PC and have about 1,300 hours in now. The community is amazing too, I've made some of the greatest friends I've ever had from all over the world thanks to this game.

Would buy it if they didn't have that wack ahh anti-cheat, that thing is as invasive as Valorant's anti-cheat, a literal rootkit.
I just wish they could make an offline play that dont require to play at their server just like the first 1

I got HD2 on the 1st day of it's release date.. Got to lvl 150 while the rest were still at 97 or 111 and 124's.. I barely came across anyone that was my level ar 150.. I sold my ps5 about 7 months ago.. and boy, I miss this game so much to the point where im buying PS5 again and coming back!!! So much has changed it's amazing seeing this games progression.. Arrowhead did a great job and stil do.. See you soon Folks! Democracy it is!
The devs are lazy and slow. The game is missing cross-progression yet the community has been asking for it on their knees. Bugs and constant crashes rarely fixed. Performance issues. I can go on. The game is great at the core, but everything around it is abysmal.
My personal GOTY for 2024 and likely 2025. Live service done right. Epic Hollywood Tactical Shenanigans. Grab a beer and run some 2-2 splits with friends!

I came back to the game after over a year break because of ARC Raiders but yeah while the game is fun, I expected the performance and filesize to shrink a bit not further blow up lol. Now I only have 500gb SSD on my laptop so I'll probably have to delete the game the moment I need to install something new, the game should be 50gb max, hell the game does look great and I love the enemy physics but they need to sit down and start optimizing 🙄

This game is a blast but those are the problems that I encounter
The game is expecting me that I change my play stile. Dudes I am nearly 40 I can't snipe shit in my aga anymore. Let me play the missions like I want, with a "Arc Thrower or" the "Laser Cannon" or a "Flamethrower" because it is not gone happen. I will be not able to hit a tiny weak spot like a jet pack or a eye in my life anymore. At the moment I have the feeling that my way of playing the game is absolutely not impactful and absolutely not meant to be played so what is the point of this weapons?
"Gunships" are so fricking frustrating and just unfair. The game ended way to many times after a wipe because two or more "Gunships" have bin flying over us. You are not even able to spawn equipment because you get killed. There should be more indestructible covers from above like some sorts of overhangs, indestructible bunkers or higher walls that you can hide behind to get back on your feet.
The "Flashmob" needs a bug fix and a rework, they hit you on places even if you are clearly out of reach, they glitch through walls and in addition they are unnecessary tanky. How is this making any fun?
Change the "Leviathan", it sucks to get one hit killed by a enemy that is infinitely responing. Make him a mini boss fight or change it guns to fire something like a deadly "time detonating grenade" maybe make it obvious that you are getting targeted with a "laser beam" before it is firing so you get a chance to take cover.

Companies need to learn from arrowhead. It's crazy that a small team of about 150 people can interact with the community, and actively address issues consistently with strategic feedback as well as admitting their faults, while also coming up with solutions to these faults in a decent amount of time in comparison to massive companies with thousands of associates that never/rarely address or even fix issues. I wish arrowhead had a bigger team and more investment into it to promote what the game COULD be
Stop glazediving. Yeah, it's a grand game. They nailed the concept. But the scope long ago outgrew the capacity and competence of Arrowhead. Right now it's a total mess. It's unstable to the point of being hazardous to your hardware, ridiculously buggy and unbalanced, packed with bullshit ideas that ragdoll your brain when you think someone gave them a green light.
This game is unlike anything I’ve ever played and has really reignited that spark of playing with my friends online, something I haven’t really done to this degree since the golden age of the Xbox 360 era. I’m grateful that the devs chose to make it available for us Xbox players to enjoy because Helldivers is a genuinely enjoyable and engaging experience for an online game.
Just started playing this game. Now that I understand the mechanics. I’m hooked.
Between this and mh wilds I have every pve need I could ever want in 2025

No sweaty try hard pvp .. just pure chaos pve…. sometimes in co-op…i find someone same braincells with me and having a great laugh
As a father if two young kids i love that helldivers just lets me jump in do a mission or two before they're off school.
So many shooter games need you to play a ton just to stand a chance or get your unlocks with Helldivers 2 you get a share of the warbond medals for the major orders even if you only participate in a few missions or are dealing with life.
For that it shall forever have my love
The graphics are ported through Xbox it's horrible horrible fr is decent but you feel like your playing the game in a soda straw type of process mainly when your in the thick of battle for democracy
the Chinese community is so serious even when you join LVL 5/6 difficulty if you are a low level you get kicked immediately
The game got a lot better but I really hope the Devs pause the Warbond development for a month or two to optimize the game more and give some quality patches.
Never have I spent $50 on something and deleted within 3 hours of playing. Great concept but game is horrible
The hive worlds need balancing, but its still fun to get swarmed by hive lords
The fact that the expansion content is not locked in a 40$ DLC is a big W
Its now even playable. All it does wel is crashing. Such a shame because its a great game
