Unfortunately I can’t even play the game. Freezes to a black screen on launch of it on Xbox. Hoping arrowhead will fix the issue. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing!
Idk why he is making it sound like you need to pay for shit. It is so easy to get war bonds with in game currency. I have been playing since launch and never dropped a penny extra then the base game and I have more currency then I know what to do with.
This game honestly sucks. What a disappointment. This is what people have been chimping out over? Unbelievably clunky gameplay and controls, progression is hidden behind multiple battlepasses so you’re grinding non-stop with straight up trash weapons, cIown fkn teammates team killing you or not playing the objective, non-stop crashes or bugs, gunplay is awful trying to shoot enemies right in front of you is needlessly difficult, GARBAGE CLUNKY CONTROLS, enemies hitting you from miles away, random bugs that bum rush you and insta kill you in hordes, and you’re just running most of the time. I really wanted to like this game but this is a joke. Already refunded, can’t believe people like this trash.
This review sounds way less scripted than usual. I much prefer this style of review content.

If you already owned it on PS5 or PC why would you pick up the Xbox version? The whole cross progression part felt like a jab in the wrong direction

Is this game free to play?
Playing hard core you can get all warbonds free but it takes a little grinding. Its completely possible. I didn't buy any of the first 5 warbonds because of grinding.
For those of you who are new to the game… I actually have an X-Series and a PS5. I got the PSN because I wanted to play this game. It's fun, funny and there are extremely cinematic moments. It is like you're in a sci-fi action parody. I recommend watching some YouTube videos on how to be a good teammate and proper Helldivers dos and don'ts and there are a lot of hilarious YouTube videos as well.

Liked this review, but have to disagree on the part of the cost/free stuff and warbonds. If you play the game you'll get enough currency (the "super credits") to unlock the other warbonds. I mean, it's a game, right?! The fun about it is to play it. Yes, it can be somewhat grindy, but it's just a fun game to play, so play.
Also, I do experience some more bugs than represented in this review. A lot of disconnects, every other time a game crash and the desync errors are real (PS5, first model, performance mode). On the upside, almost never had performance/framedrop issues.
So yea, fun game! Really fun game! Gotta try it 🙂 For Democracy! For Super Earth! o7
U dont need to spend money 🤷♂️ u can farm super credits and have enough for 1 in 1 hour. Dont be lazy!
Didn't like how the reviewer made it seem like you NEED to spend money on warbonds. Patience and just playing the game will get you all that stuff.
Why is it impossible to ‘align the signal’ on single player mode? Need help.
Oh no there’s too much content in my 40 dollar game… everything is free if you grind enough; like how can you complain about that, the warbonds are like “mini” battle passes AND THEY ARE ALL THERE.
You don’t need any friends, just dive in! This was the comment that made me hesitant back at release, but you can easily find good squads, and have fun dying with some of the worse teams
250+ hours in, still love the game. When it and the whole major orders and the humour are at thier best, its a next level experience, and one of the best playerbase out there.
Playing with Xbox players has been awesome. The serves are running smooth and the community and events have been hilarious. Can’t wait for this game to grow into something even larger.
The no cross progression kinda kills me maybe once they add that I’ll buy it. Gave my ps5 away😢
Honestly this a very rare game that starting over is actually fun. Since the most fun is lvl 1-40. Thats when you unlock that good stuff and test bunch of new weapon. But yeah i was playing on playstation. Which i was lvl 125. But then i went to pc and im now lvl 71. Im really having an awesome time with that game. Im glad our xbox community gets to experience this awesome game
You can grind out 1,000sc over a good week of playing after work with a solid push on Saturday. I’m almost at 1,500 to unlock the ODST legendary warbond already.
You earn sc by leveling up, you can find them within the missions and you can unlock 750sc in the free warbond. It’s the friendliest grind I’ve ever seen.
Its awsome but the community is filled with weird rp elitist who get mad when your in there lobby as a low lvl, like bro most of the good stragigems are available at 25 and they cheap to get
A buddy of mine is stuck alone on his Xbox, he can't join any lobbies nor be joined. He sees friends online but nobody sees him, do you guys know of a fix? He's on Xbox, his NAT type is open, his internet connection is great, he pays the subscription to play online and also tried either with LAN cable, wifi and his phone hotspot.

As an Xbox diver to the veterans that jump into low/med difficulty missions and run around accomplishing every objective you can solo and extracting regardless if your team is around YOU ARE NOT HELPING US. You’re just trying to show off and ruining the experience.
This is a free to play game with a $40 to $60 price tag. Grind or buy your way up. Great job Sony. You got us.

I always seen people play helldivers and always wanted to. When I seen it was coming to Xbox I immediately preordered it. After playing a few hours I can confidently say I can tell why people loves the game. Also all the randoms I joined were super nice apart from one who just outright kicked me for no reason but is what it is. Good outweighs the shitty. Overall can say I’ll be playing the crap outta this game
Don’t like how you guys portrayed the 2nd half of this video. Absolutely too negative. Everyone can get in game stuff with playing the game. Don’t even have to pay just play and grind

12+mins of not telling people why Helldivers is one of the best, most thought out multiplayer games to date! After what he said this game is a 6 at best….
This is super dragged out with unnecessary information and unfounded speculations….
Helldivers doesn't get more complex with more content. Every mission is blowing everything that moves into oblivion….only with increasingly fun toys.
I can't even comprehend the argument he makes about having more Warbonds and Strategems than in the initial HD2!
It's added more content in all the original categories…. it's like McDonald's adding another burger to the menu, not like giving you additional options in several car insurances, blinking shoes and nuclear warheads with your meal.
You could spend 1000 Super Credits on 1 of 4 Warbonds and now you can spend 1000 Super Credits on 1 of 12 Warbonds…. grinding to level 80 will give you the same amount of Super Credits but with more options to spend it on.
And how many Strategems were added since launch? 10? 12? Overwhelming….

Paying for war bonds?!? I’ve unlocked loads of them simply by playing. I’ve not paid for anything with real money. That’s one of the big bonuses of Helldivers – you can unlock EVERYTHING with no out of pocket expense, just time that helps you hone your skills and learn the mission types
Why are we not acknowledging how bad the graphics are on Xbox?
