Honey Sprite Location & Effect

The final Design A Sprite winner, the Honey Sprite by Conejito_sam, has been released as the last of the two Sprite variants of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4! With a deadly swarm of bees and 6 Honey Sprites to collect, you might want to see what this Sprite does, how you can get it, and which ones you’ll need to collect to complete your ultimate Sprite collection! Check it out below.

The Honey Sprite drops from Pumpkins, Cheat Codes, and Chests at the Epic Rarity. The easiest way to get the Honey Sprite is through Lucky Locators (if you have any) and through the All Sprite Variants Loot Hack, which increases your chance of obtaining a sprite from a chest by 6% (and doubles with a Loot Hacker Sprite).

What Does the Honey Sprite Do (& Is It Worth Using?)

What Does the Honey Sprite Do (& Is It Worth Using)

The Honey Sprite will drop a swarm of bees at a target’s location if you hit them with a ranged weapon. This means that to activate it, you must hit the target with an Assault Rifle or a Sniper Rifle. However, it’s also pretty pointless, and I’ll explain why.

The bee swarm hits for 5 damage per second, so while it can be useful to force an enemy to move from cover, the bee swarm itself is absurdly small, so you barely have to move an inch before it’s ineffective. Plus, the bee swarm can even damage the person who has the Honey Sprite equipped!

The bee swarm’s spawn rate and damage don’t increase with each level up, which is also pretty disappointing.
