Housemarque’s forthcoming sci-fi shooter Saros has received a new trailer at tonight’s The Game Awards, as well as a slight delay.
Sony previously announced the game would be out on 20th March next year, but now it’s set for 30th April.
Below is the new trailer showing more of the game’s story – and Jane Perry returns!
Perry was Selene in the studio’s previous game Returnal, so it’s great to see her back in a new role.
“Saros is the haunting story of a lost off-world colony on Carcosa under an ominous eclipse,” reads the PlayStation Blog. “You play as Arjun Devraj, a powerful Soltari Enforcer who will stop at nothing to find who he is looking for.”
There’s an ensemble cast this time around, and seemingly more of an emphasis on story. There’s also a mysterious corridor to explore, presumably a bit like the home in Returnal.
As for the studio’s “bullet ballet”, Saros has a new parry move to bounce back all those neon shots. It’s looking brilliant!
