Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth channels the original Final Fantasy 7 in the purest way possible – being a home of endless minigames disguised as a full-scale RPG. Really, no RPG is complete these days without a card game to call its own, and that comes in the form of Queen’s Blood in Rebirth.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Queen’s Blood Guide
Learn the basics for winning every match in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s spectacular card game.
Except for once you reach Costa Del Sol, where the rules of Queen’s Blood are turned on their head. Here, you are given preset cards with all your opponent’s cards already played, with you trying to tactically place your cards to beat their score. If you’re having trouble getting that perfect solution, read on to find the exact board layout you need to succeed.
Solution To The Card Carnival Practice Drill
To start off with, Card Carnival offers a Practice Drill to let you get a bearing on how the game functions. These are no-stakes encounters, unnecessary to advance but also without any rewards. It’s purely for fun and learning.
Power Down Practice
This challenge is simple – you use your Archdragons to weaken the enemies while boosting your own score. It’s a pretty simple endeavor and can even be beaten in a few ways. We achieved it like this:
- Place an Archdragon on the second tile of the bottom row, destroying the Crystalline Crab
- Place your next Archdragon in the tile just freed up by the destroyed Crystalline Crab to destroy the next one.
- Finally, place the Quetzalcoatl directly above the first Archdragon to win.
Solution To Every Card Carnival Easy Puzzle
These trio of Card Carnival Puzzles will initially be done alongside Regina whom you’ll have previously met on the cruise to Costa Del Sol. She will offer either positive or negative feedback based on each card you placed, letting you know whether or not you made the right choice. For even more ease, we’ve included exact instructions and images as well.
Three Card Stud
This is a simple puzzle to get you started. All it requires is some thoughtful practice to create the spots you need to place all your cards.
- Place Your Fleetwing in the third tile of the bottom row.
- Place your Zu in the first tile of the top row in the newly created spot.
- Finally, place your Quetzalcoatl in the second tile of the middle row to win.
Go For Choco-Broke
This one is all about Chocobo, and pretty simply has you place them all in a single row. Just make sure you get the order right.
- First, place your fat Chocobo right in the first tile of the bottom row.
- Then place your Posh Chocobo in the third tile of the bottom row to create a new tile for the Chocobo and Moogle.
- Place Chocobo and Moogle in the newly created tile between your two Chocobo and you win.
Mischief Making Moogles
This puzzle is all about swarming the board with Moogles through the use of the Moogle Trio card.
- First, place the Moogle Trio card in the first tile of the middle row.
- Next, place the Fleetwing in the second tile of the middle row to create two new tiles.
- Now place a Grasslands Wolf in the first tile of the bottom row.
- Place your Moogle Mage in the second tile of the bottom row to remove the Cactuar from your opponent.
- Finally, place the Moogle Bard in the first tile of the top row to boost your remaining cards, and win.
Solution To Every Card Carnival Advanced Puzzle
These puzzles will unlock immediately after beating the Easy card puzzles, though this time you will have no guidance from Regina to help you. Make sure to read the description of the challenge first as they will often give you a good idea on how to win. Or you can just read below for our exact solutions.
Spears And Needles
This puzzle is all about getting the highest possible bonus you can on a single tile to dominate your opponent.
- Start off by placing your Cactuar in the third tile of the top row.
- Now place your first Spearhawk directly below your Cactuar.
- Then place your second Spearhawk to the right of your previous one.
- Finally, place your Quetzalcoatl underneath your second Spearhawk in the +5 bonus tile, and win.
Sea Devil By Night
This puzzle can be a bit tricky as it requires the tactical sacrifice of your own units to boost your Sea Devils. You’ll want to place your Sea Devils as soon as you can as they gain power with each allied card drawn.
- First off, place your Security Officer in the second tile of the bottom row. This will destroy them but give you two Rank Three tiles.
- Place your Sea Devil cards in each of these Rank Three tiles.
- Next, place one of your Mandragora cards in the first tile of the middle row.
- For the remaining cards, keep placing them in the open tiles of the bottom row to sacrifice them but increase the power of your Sea Devils with each one until you win.
A Kingly Clash
This puzzle can be quite complicated as both when and where you place your cards is essential to winning. To make this a bit easier, we’ve included a video alongside our step-by-step directions below. The key to all this is the Tonberry King who gets stronger with every allied card destroyed.
- Start off by placing your Zu cards in the second tile of the top and bottom rows respectively. This will turn the third tile on the middle row into a Rank Two tile.
- Place your Tonberry King in this newly created Rank Two tile.
- Next, place your Deathwheel cards in the first tile of the top and bottom rows. This will destroy the Flametroopers, which in turn will destroy the Zu and Elphadunk cards.
- Finally, place your Mindflayer in the first tile of the middle row to destroy the Deathwheels, and win.
