In Aion 2, characters unlock the ability to fly early in the tutorial. Short of teleportation, it is the fastest way to get around the map in this game, but unfortunately, how long you can fly without running out of steam is limited by a stamina resource called Flight Power, which recovers slowly over time.
This guide covers how you can increase your Flight Power as well as how you can use flight movement techs to use your current Flight Power more efficiently, flying for longer distances while consuming less stamina.
How to Increase Flight Power in Aion 2
Flight Power is a mechanic in Aion 2 that dictates how long you can use your Wings in order to fly. The only way to increase Flight Power is by collecting new Wings. Every Wing comes with two stats: Owned Effect and Equipped Effect.
Owned Effects are effects that apply regardless of whether an item is equipped or merely sitting in your inventory. Equipped Effects, on the other hand, only apply when the item is equipped and are removed when you take it off.

Flight Power is exclusively an Owned Effect on Wings, meaning the more Wings you collect on a character, the higher their Flight Power will become.
You’ll unlock Intermediate, Superior, and Ultimate Daeva Wings by completing Ascension main story quests while leveling. Prioritize them whenever available to increase your Flight Power quickly.
There are 28 obtainable Wings in Aion 2, and you can check appearances, sources, and applied effects (including Flight Power) for each and every one in the Wings tab after you unlock the ability to fly during the tutorial.
In fact, if you open the Wings tab (Alt + C), you can see your current Flight Power under the “All Applied Effects” tab in the “All Owned Effects” section. The higher this number is, the longer you can fly, and the only way to increase it is to get more Wings.
Some titles, like Professional Extractor and Cogni Executioner, grant you a stat called Flight Speed. This is not the same as Flight Power. As the name suggests, instead of increasing your total flight stamina, this increases the speed at which you fly.
How to Do the “Fly Tech” in Aion 2
There is a flying movement tech in Aion 2 that lets you use the same amount of Flight Power to travel a greater distance. Here’s how it works:
- Press V to start flying.
- Hold W to move forward, and press Shift to give yourself a boost.
- Immediately after pressing Shift, press V to disable flight. Your character will come out of flight, still carrying the momentum from the previous boost.
- Tap V again to resume flight mid-air.
- Repeat from Step 1.
