Luck Dust is a type of crafting ingredient in Moonlight Peaks that you can get by farming Rabbiculas. However, the game does not explain how, exactly, players are supposed to use Luck Dust in the game, and what the point of the item is. Here’s how it works.
How to Get Luck Dust in Moonlight Peaks
How to Get Rabbicula
The only way to get Luck Dust in Moonlight Peaks is by farming Rabbicula, a type of farm animal you unlock when you reach Spring, Year 2 in a playthrough. When you reach the first day of Spring in Year 2, you’ll receive a letter in the mail from Luna titled “Rabbicula!,” saying that she found a Rabbicula in her garden and that you are welcome to come and purchase it.
From that point forward, Rabbicula will be added to the pool of available farm animals at Luna’s Farm. You can buy it for 2,800 Coins when it is available.
Where to Find Luck Dust

When a Rabbicula is kept fed and happy, Luck Dust will spawn randomly in dig spots around your farm, in any area that is accessible by the Rabbicula. You can dig these spots up using a Shovel, or by interacting with them in the Hellkitten form.
The happier the Rabbicula is, the more Luck Dust dig spots appear in your farm. However, unlike the produce from other farm animals like Cowcula Milk or Eggs, Luck Dust does not have any additional quality tiers (stars), meaning keeping your Rabbicula extra happy does not yield better produce.
How to Use Luck Dust in Moonlight Peaks
Luck Dust can be used in the following ways in Moonlight Peaks:
- Potion Ingredient: Luck Dust is used to craft the Love Potion, which boosts the friendship you get from gift-giving by a small amount. You can purchase the recipe for the Love Potion from Sabrina at Webb of Wonders.
- Gift for Everyone: Luck Dust is a universally “Liked” gift (not Loved) by almost everyone in the game, with the notable exception of Death. If you’re in a hurry and don’t have anything better to give to somebody, Luck Dust is a safe bet.
- Sell: Luck Dust can be sold for 110 Gold each, making it a lucrative way to earn some passive income if you’re able to accumulate a large amount of it over time.
