How To Get The Hidden Banandium Gems In Pit Seeds In Donkey Kong Bananza

Pit Seeds is a strange little Challenge Course found on the Forest Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza. It all takes place inside a hollowed out tree, meaning you don’t have a long obstacle course to navigate as usual. Instead, there’s a lot of height to manoeuvre through, and as you might have guessed from the name, a lot of seeds.

The aim is to pop five balloons, at least to get the middle Banandium Gem, which is rewarded for completing the course. In order to do that, you need to make paths towards them using the beanstalks that sprout from the seeds. However, these seeds don’t stick to all the walls, and they reset after being used.

You also can’t throw the seeds at the balloons themselves.

Where To Find The First Banandium Gem In Pit Seeds

As soon as you enter the level, grab the seed and turn around. Looking up, you’ll see a wooden platform. Throw the seed up here, and a path will appear. Step on this path, and up the ramp you’ll find the first Banandium Gem right there waiting for you.

Where To Find The Second Banandium Gem In Pit Seeds

This banana is for popping all five balloons, so let’s start with the basic ones. As soon as you walk into the level, you’ll see a seed, and just beyond it, a balloon. While walking on this beanstalk, you’ll be able to jump down to the first podium, where you’ll see another balloon floating to the left (and will have another seed).

The next three you might not grasp right away. One of them is inside the green column with spikes on top, so launch a seed near it and punch through the walls.

One of them is directly underneath the middle platform, so you can get it from the lowest platform if you look up and aim at the wood behind it.

And finally, one is directly opposite the bottom platform, but with Neptunite beyond it, can’t be reached. Here, you need to use one seed to go from the bottom platform to the wooden wall to the right or left, and then take another one along this beanstalk directly through the balloon’s path so you can pop it.

Once all five are done, a barrel that transports you back to the entrance will appear at the bottom of the map.

While you’re making your way around the lower reaches of the hollowed out tree, you’ll see a Neptunite barrier on the back wall. Behind this barrier in a small alcove is the third Banandium Gem.

Throw a seed to the wood behind it, as close as you can get, and you should be able to leap up and punch it. If you’re too far away, head back and aim the seed even closer. With this, the level will be complete.
