Titan Quest 2 has plenty of options when it comes to your character’s build, but there are a few different aspects that are going to be present in a lot of them. If your character is making regular use of spells, one of those consistencies between builds is going to be the use of Spell Rage.
Spell Rage is vitally important to builds making regular use of spells, and it’s a mechanic that you’re going to need to be familiar with if you want to keep up with other builds. It is, luckily, an extremely simple mechanic to understand and utilize, once you’re familiar with it.
What Is Spell Rage?
Rage is a buff that applies as you do combat actions, and Spell Rage is a variation of that, and it applies when you cast spells.
Every stack of Spell Rage grants:
- Increased spell damage.
- Increased cast speed.
This applies when you cast a spell, giving extra value towards starting whatever spell rotation you have with spells that you can cast more quickly. The more spells you cast, the more stacks of Spell Rage that you apply.
Those stacks of Spell Rage with then make it much faster to cast a bigger spell, and make the time spent casting that more effective, because it’s going to deal additional damage.
How To Unlock Spell Rage
Spell Rage is unlocked in the passive Mastery tree of spellcasting Masteries. Upgrading the skill increases the spell damage and cast speed buff, as well as unlocking Feats that you can apply to the skill.
