2026 lineup is why I will finally fold and get a ps5

2026 is already looking insane! Trails in the Sky Second Chapter, finally getting a release across PS5, Switch 2, and PC, has me counting down the days. Beyond the Horizon at the start of the year + Yakuza Kowami 3? Honestly, my backlog might never recover. Anyone else planning a full Legend of Heroes marathon before these drop?
Trails in the Sky remake not on the level of a FF or Persona? What are you smoking my dude? Have you played FF16? or Persona 5? Big graphics, zero substance IMO. Trails in the SKy Remake is one of the best RPGs ever made in my opinion. The pacing is incredible, the VA, the narrative than makes you actually wanna read through dialogue, side quests that makes you wanna do them for the most part as it adds character development, and lets not even talk about the incredible combat system. Plus, you dont have an annoying blue things telling what you can and can not do all the time, or where to go, what to do next… Fuck Mona, holy shit and Persona 5 dragged on forever, it was not only until Royal that the feeling of repition and chore was eased a bit but Atlus can no longer do gems like P3 or P4.
Ill take Trails in the Sky remake 2 over FF7 remake 3 or some other new age persona… in a blink of an eye.

My first trails was the 1st chapter remake. Jumped into Daybreak while waiting for 2nd chapter and now literally at the end of daybreak 2. Eh, hopefully Horizon is much much better. I've got cold steel on deck for a time I'm out of games…
You know damn well we're getting all of the Liberl and Crossbell Arc remakes.

Man ya'll need to be careful what thumbnail ya'll use, Sky 2nd chapter trailer had a spoiler warning for a reason and that thumbnail was shown at the end of the trailer.

I've played all the trails game up to this point which are relatively good games but this one is just ITT!! They've streamlined everything and omg the actual gameplay change is way better than any other trails game. They should base the future games going forward on this combat/gameplay and it can be a GOT contender every time a newer one comes out
