Now Kojima Productions is planning to introduce even more people to Death Stranding 2 ahead of release, through an official Death Stranding 2 Game Premiere event scheduled for June 8, 2025 at 7pm PT. The event itself will be hosted in person by Geoff Keighley at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California, as well as broadcast via YouTube. According to the event description, the premiere event will feature live gameplay from Death Stranding 2, a panel with special guests, and commentary from series creator Hideo Kojima himself. Though it’s not officially part of the Summer Game Fest 2025 program, the premiere event’s timing builds on earlier announcements that Kojima would be attending SGF 2025 and appear onstage.

The Death Stranding 2 premiere event will also serve as the opening salvo in Kojima Productions’ planned Death Stranding 2 World Tour, a globe-trotting promotional sprint for the game. Running from June 8 and past the game’s release date into November, the world tour will feature special guests and events fans can look forward to. Like the tour events, the premiere will allow fans to attend in person, though the premiere requires the purchase of a ticket.
Between the world tour and the premiere, it looks like Kojima Productions is quite confident about Death Stranding 2‘s chances for success. It has reason to be, given how excited many fans are to learn more about the game.
