This looks like the love child of Apex Legends and Cruelty Squad, and I think that's pretty cool.
I would have hated this less if they had made it a completely new unrelated franchise instead of crapping all over the excellent original Marathon games and ruining our chances of ever getting a new single player story game in that universe.
I'm not going to buy or play this Concord-type garbage. I'll wait for Destiny 3. Thanks, but no thanks.
NO INVISIBLITY… I don't understand why developers put this bogus ish in their games as a means of "class identity". As a Finals player, I've never been killed by an invisible light player and not felt cheated.

I really want this game to do well. I don't care if it doesn't become a big game, I just want it to have a healthy player base. I'm sad it's not a single player story heavy Marathon game, but I'll take what I can get. Who knows, if this sells enough, maybe they'll give us a remake of Pathways Into Darkness XD

Would have prefered an actual Marathon game. Remake from the ground up would have been cool to see the inspiration for Halo with a similar vibe visually, intellectually and spirit of Combat Evolved with the weirdness of OG Marathon. Im burnt out on extraction shooters. Have it as a game mode sure. But just being an extraction shooter is boring and repetitive af.
Gamer vaheens complain about everything. Doomaces that just follow the herd. Cool ace game but because there's a hate bonair for Bungie people hate on a game that they haven't played yet. Fooken vaheens.
All these mechanics for a singular gameplay loop. Might be cool with some actual narrative depth or variety for players.
