As soon the trailer started my first reaction was "This looks like the RE Engine.".. if you play enough of the RE Engine games, you know they have a certain look to em… but I wasn't sold because of the jebait Capcom did earlier lol. Soon as I saw the bomb crater, my mind was blown. Going back to destroyed Raccoon City has been something I've wanted to see Capcom do for a long ass time and they're actually doing it which is wild to me lol. It was just like a pipe dream I always had but now it's real and I'm thrilled.
And yeah I love the Outbreak connection here. I've always felt that RE Outbreak and Outbreak File 2 were games that came out ahead of their time, and were ahead of their time really, in terms of a cooperative survival horror game like that. Back in the PS2 days when you needed the network adapter to really play it but at that time broadband internet was still fairly new to the masses. If they had released Outbreak in the Xbox 360 era, it would've been massive.
