Prime remaster is dated. I hope they changed things up, other than graphics and “powers”.

I think the psychic abilities are kind of a lame idea. It feels like they couldn't figure out something original so now they're just taking inspiration from Tears of the Kingdom with the ultra hand ability

the new race is called the Lamorn, I'm sure many have already corrected you

What I didn't notice until just now is that the charge beam effect has transparency, which was in the GameCube and Trilogy Prime versions but was missing in Remastered. I remember hearing during an interview with an OG Prime dev that transparency on Switch was hard. Did they find a workaround? That might contribute to how great the game looks, if they found a more performant way to pull it off.

They're not Ela they're called Lamorn lol. It's literally in the footage you are showing on screen. How can you do a breakdown and not even pay that much attention to shit? This is why you have really bad views and likes ratio. Low effort gets low views.

What about the game being on Viewros….just at different points in time

When samus stands up with that new Red suit on she isn't manifesting in that location that room she is in and the machine she's in is actually upgrading her suit to that new red armoursuit as we can hear the sound effects of what we hear when she usually gets a suit upgrade I could hear it and how she stands and looks at her suit is also a clear indication that she has just acquired that new armoursuit she didn't just teleport in there

The new species is called the Lamorn. The scan of the statue reveals this, as well as the japanese Metroid Prime 4 page

The energy tank within the research facility at the planet revealed in the initial trailer, suggests said planet may be revisited, unless the tank it is a mandatory expansion.

They said Pokemon was coming “Late 2025” which MP4 just says coming 2025, which imo is more evidence that it’s possibly related to the launch date of the switch.

From what was revealed in the trailer I am looking forward to seeing more in the near future however, what still concerns me is wether or not we will get new biomes to explore or if this is all what were getting.

I agree that we will see more with the Switch 2 Direct. I think they’re going to show off how Prime 4 supports mouse mode for aiming tho, at least that’s my hope.

either prime 4 will be cross gen or we'll get an upgrade patch like microsoft and sony has been doing this gen. as for those two races, they might show up in a future title but the scan shown in the trailer says what the alien race is called

First ive noticed which i think some of us noticed as well is that at some point in the first part of the game you lose.. at least the missiles because you have 30 at (possibly) the start of the game… And at some point in the second trailer you have 10.. and even earlier you dont even see them in hub as a selectable ammo 😅.. but its they only think ive noticed about losing. And about environments .. there is definitely a desert biome as you can sneak peak it through the Japanese website of the game.

Prime4 on Switch 2 will look like Forbidden West on Ps4 Pro

A few additional points:
-The Lamorn head looks idential to the Metroid Prime in Tallon IV
-The portals are the new doors I believe
-There is a desert planet or area shown in the background of the official banner

It's not a contradiction… it was unexpected for her, but someone brought her there (summoned her) for a purpose. She initially doesn't know why.

They wanna keep all secrets for this game and hopefully we get atleast the first 15 mins of the game

What if the portals are a reference to what they say time and space aka like MP2 unlocking maybe the psychic realm or astral plain switching between two worlds in one planet maybe🤷🏾‍♂️.

Or fast travel cause summon and transported are the same context or summoning Samus via psychic transportation via portal hopping by force points in time and space.

The end of the trailer gave me multiplayer vibes. The new suit colour could be a pick for multiplayer. They never teased the unlockable suites in a trailer as far I am aware. Prime 3 got a new default suit, but the dark and light suit, as a example, from Prime 2 was not shown before release.

OMG I'm so hyped.

My main concern is that they nail the atmosphere. Ideally, when I'm playing a Prime game, I want to forget everything else except the game, y'know?

I also really hope they lean into intentional sequence breaks like Dread with this game. I doubt they will given MP1 Remastered tried to remove them, but they add so much replayabillity, sequence breaks are why I've beaten Samus Returns like 10 times.

Good point about the physic abillities. I'll probably stick to classic controls though, I actually prefered them in remastered.

2:45 Didn't notice that actually!

My only real issue with what we've seen so far is the power beam effects look kinda wimpy in the new trailer, they looked fine in the previous trailer, though the charge beam looks smaller and weaker than it did in the previous Prime games, but this new, blue version looks really wimpy and looks like it has pretty poor player feedback. Hopefully they update the particle effects and sound design because I think the original Prime trilogy did a really good job of making even the basic power beam feel powerful and impactful.

Otherwise I'm 100% on board, it looks gorgeous and feels like a true continuation of the Prime series. I'm not sure what the point of calling it "Prime 4" will be, I'm assuming it'll tie in with the previous games in more ways than just the inclusion of Sylax (I'm not looking up how to spell that lol), because the OT revolved around the titular "Metroid Prime" as the main antagonist, so if Metroid Prime isn't present in even a tangential way, then it kinda feels like the whole "Prime" subtitle is more a formality than anything. It'll be interesting to see how they justify it, if they do at all. Might actually end up getting a Switch just for this lol, Metroid is pretty much the only Nintendo IP I'm a big fan of.

The fact that Nintendo hasn't revealed the release date means that, at least to me, MP4 will have a Switch 2 version or what they called ''Switch 2 edition'' and it'll be shown on wednesday during the Switch 2 presentation. if MP4 isn't shown on wednesday, then I have no idea what Nintendo will do with the game in terms of marketing and release window.

Aside from that, the suit at the end looks like a super car, very slick and aerodynamic. And her boots have a little sharp flap that symbolizes speed. What if that means the speed booster comes back? That'd be cool..

Hopefully there are more news next week so you keep making more content because your stuff is great! Keep up the great work.
