Minecraft Legends: How to Increase Army Size

You need to know how to increase army size in Minecraft Legends to really progress, as the default limit of 20 golems and 20 mobs isn’t quite enough. While you can add zombies and creepers to your ranks, the real power of your forces lies in golems. In any case, you’ll want to increase your army size sooner rather than later.

How to Increase Army Size in Minecraft Legends

There are three ways that you can increase your army size in Minecraft Legends, and they all include building improvements at the Well of Fate.

The Well of Fate acts as a hub for upgrading your abilities, and when you look under the improvements sections of your book filled with melodies, you’ll find:

  • Improvement: Banner
  • Improvement: Flames of Creation
  • Improvement: Large Flames of Creation

These three improvements are the way that you’ll be able to increase the size of your golem army.

Improvement: Banner

Improvement: Banner lets you rally an additional 15 mobs, so this will be for the mobs you find in the overworld like zombies, and not for more golems. This upgrade will cost you:

  • 100 Stone
  • 100 Prismarine
  • 25 Gold

Improvement: Flames of Creation

Improvement: Flames of Creation is the smaller upgrade for your golem army. You’ll be able to spawn four more golems each time you build this improvement, and it will cost you:

  • 200 Stone
  • 200 Prismarine
  • 25 Gold

Improvement: Large Flames of Creation

Improvement: Large Flames of Creation is the better version of the previous improvement, but it costs more resources.

Each time you build this improvement, you’ll be able to spawn ten more golems, but it will cost:

  • 400 Stone
  • 400 Prismarine
  • 100 Gold

As you invade larger and more robust Piglin bases, you’ll need to increase army size so you can rally enough troops to take them on. For more Minecraft Legends guides to help you strategize, we have what each golem type is used for and how to find unlockable mounts to ride into combat.
