Leave it, the 343 renamed as Halo studios to destroy another Halo game. Not only a random hilloo game, but the Halo game, I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't fired these people, 343 is ruined, halos franchise has brought transactions in it when it never needed it. My hopes are so low on this. I will probably buy and love the CE remake, but for what we are gonna see today it will likely be a boring dev talk. Which is great for AFTER you show a ton of gameplay, release date, and platforms.

Honestly don’t need that long of a reveal. Just let us know what the plan is and show us a bit of what to expect. I’m in no rush for a release. I’d love it to be sooner than later, but I just want to be GOOD AND COMPLETE. Infinite could’ve been that had they everything properly planned and gave themselves enough time. They lost players because it was solid, but not anywhere close to complete or good enough. I hate to be the guy that always point to Halo 3, but the game was fucking PERFECT when they launched it. It’s why people stayed around long enough for DLC and played for years and years and years. I’d do anything to have another Halo game launch like that

I'm seeing a lot of negativity and contempt in the comment section. I get the skepticism, but the idea that we’re only getting "about 15 minutes" total just doesn’t line up with what’s actually on the HaloWC schedule. Halo Studios has two separate slots on Friday: a Project Update and a Project Deep Dive. That’s a full event window that could easily add up to 45–60 minutes of content.
On top of that, last year nobody expected the “A New Dawn” video or the Halo Studios rebrand, and those weren’t even listed on the official schedule. That alone shows they’re not afraid to drop something major off the record. So while it’s fair to be cautious, treating the schedule as the absolute ceiling for what they’ll show is just overly pessimistic.
Honestly, it’s more realistic to expect at least a meaningful look at what’s next, especially given how deliberately they’ve been teasing this event. Hopeful? Sure, but definitely not unrealistic. Let’s wait and see before we assume the worst.

I don't think the schedule means that just bc X is happening at specific time doesn't mean that Y can't overlap it.. The new project reveal could overlap with the H5 2v2 sign-ups. But even if we do get only 10 minutes of coverage for the new project, that is plenty of time to highlight some details before the deep dive later that day.
I've always wanted all the Halo titles redone with "modern" game play mechanics and consistent art styles. Imagine having all elements from each game combined for all "re-envisioned" titles.. Dual-wielding, bubble shields, grav lifts, flares, thrusters, grapple, etc. with all weapons from each title. That would be wild.
For the employee… We're only hearing it from his end. The fact that the story broke with him talking about how Halo Studios is pushing the use of "AI" blah blah blah and then his next post is talking about how his manager made his work life so intolerable that he wanted to quit. We're talking about someone who has been with Halo since 2008. I read this more of a stubborn employee throwing a fit because he has been doing things a certain way for so long and now having to change the way he does things because that's what their employer wants. I've seen this too many times and worked beside these people. If the company you work for wants to do things a certain way your opinion is pointless, especially with a large company like Microsoft (who is likely pushing the use of their AI, Copilot). Either get on board or get out of the way. Entitlement gets you no where besides ranting on the Internet.

What did you expect? An hour long deep dive into a game that's got at least one year more of development before release? Come on dude

Well let's be honest – a competitive Halo stream is not going to have anywhere near the viewership of an actual streamed Game Show. TBH I bet the viewership will drop off tremendously after the product is shown off. Like they wouldn't shadow drop a game to maybe 2k viewers – gotta be at least 40x that. No disrespect to the comp side of Halo, but uh it ain't pulling numbers like it used to. That's just a fact.
