Folks, this is a major potential spoiler warning. With Pokémon Legends: Z-A about to release, a new list of Mega Evolutions have allegedly been leaked ahead that will feature in the Mega Dimension DLC! So far the previous leaked list looks pretty accurate (and further leaks seem to prove it to be 100% accurate), so there may be some truth to this list as well. This list was found by Chinese dataminers.
It may be worthwhile starting to prep for their eventual Pokémon GO release! Not all of these Pokémon are currently available in GO, but will be likely to start making appearances soon.
It is important to note that this is a leak, and has not been verified, so this list may be inaccurate! Because the last leaked list has proved to have some truth to it, we have chosen to share this new list so that Pokémon GO trainers can start prepping in GO if they so desire.
This is your final warning, there is a full list of the leaked new DLC Mega Evolutions below, so this is your last chance to click off the article if you don’t want spoilers!
Here is the full list, divided by region:

Other Rumoured Megas
There are also 3 other rumoured Mega Pokémon that were not in this particular leak, but that appear to have the ability to hold a Mega Stone. This may mean they are not going to be in the DLC, or may be available through future events or DLC. Or it may mean they aren’t getting a Mega at all!
- Heatran
- Darkrai
- Zeraora
Thoughts
This is a really interesting new list! Some Pokémon with existing Mega forms appear to be gaining additional forms, including Absol, Garchomp and Lucario with Z forms.
There are also some very surprising options, notably Chimecho and Meowstic. These aren’t Pokémon that currently have much use in Pokémon GO, so this could be a real change to their meta impact!
Some of this list also look set to make a huge impact on the raid meta, the likes of Golurk, Golisopod, Crabominable and Baxcalibur in particular leap out. All four have been teetering on the edge of glory in GO since their introduction, and gaining a Mega would be huge for them!
There are some Pokémon on this list that aren’t yet released in GO, Magearna, Scovillain and Glimmora. We’ll take a slightly deeper look into these Pokémon as you may not know as much about them as the ones in GO.
Magearna is a Mythical Pokémon, so expect it to debut alongside a special research story, potentially as part of a major GO event like GO Fest. It is a Steel and Fairy type, and while it doesn’t evolve, it does have two different forms. There is the standard Magearna, and a second form known as the Original Color Magearna that is red and gold.

Scovillain is known as the Spicy Pepper Pokémon, and it is a dual Grass and Fire type. It’s pre-evolution is Capsakid, needing a Fire Stone to evolve. It was the first ever Grass and Fire type Pokémon, until Ogerpon was introduced in the Paldea DLC.

Glimmora is the Ore Pokémon, a Rock and Poison type. It evolves from Glimmet, and has a really cool flower inspired design.

In terms of the other 3 Pokémon that can allegedly hold a Mega Stone, Darkrai and Heatran would absolutely be game changers! They are already incredibly useful in GO, and this would give them even more viability. Zeraora is another Mythical Pokémon, first discovered in the Alola region. It is a pure Electric type. These are not considered to be as ‘confirmed’ as the this rest of the leaked lists, because their Mega forms have not been datamined, but the ability to hold Mega Stones is intriguing and hopefully proves to be true!
