A brand new holiday themed range has been released at the Pokémon Center, with an adorable tropical inspired theme for part of the release!
I will note that as of the time of writing, no holiday themed plushies have been announced or released globally yet, but they have in Japan. It is likely that as we head into November plushies will become available in other regions, so here is a sneaky look at the some of the ones available in Japan currently:
The snowy Goomy is an unexpected joy, and the Pikachu with Charjabug is fantastic! Fingers crossed we also get access to these outside of Japan.
Every year the Pokémon Center release a range of winter themed clothing, with everything from jumpers and cardigans, to pyjamas and accessories, to hats and scarves. Not only super sweet, but also functional; the gloves can be used with your phone screen, so you can play GO wearing them!
Glaceon is the perfect winter Pokémon surely? The grey blue tones are lovely, and the sleeping Glaceon on the scarf and gloves is especially nice.
And you can’t have Glaceon without Leafeon! In a mixture of bright shades of green, these are a fun contrast to the Glaceon patterns and look fab.
For fun and silly accessories, Pikachu and Eevee themed hats are available, as well as tropical holiday pins!
And finally, there are also Maushold themed items that are perfect winter colours, and a super fun tropical shirt!
A new range of ornaments and other homeware has been released, featuring aa real mixture of Pokémon.
Pancham and Skwovet are an unexpected combo (with a little nod to Electrode too), and so cute! Psyduck is always a favourite, and combining them with Riolu and Fuecoco, also fan favourites, is a win!
Stockings are a holiday classic, and there are a mixture of tropical themed ones available. The Exeggutor wearing holiday lights is a real delight and features prominently in the holiday range, and this jacquard blanket looks luxurious.
New baubles! For the slightly more expensive end of the range, the Exeggutor and the Maushold snow globe style bauble are both gorgeous options.
There is also a mixed bauble set that is a little more ‘subtle’ in terms of the patterns, so a great way to sneak Pokémon onto your tree! The Eevee and Pikachu holiday countdown figure is a such a cool way to countdown to Christmas, and you could even potentially use this to countdown to holidays, birthdays and any other exciting event you have coming up as it isn’t too specifically ‘holiday’ themed.
At the very high end of prices, a special Pokémon holiday themed train has been released! Pokémon and Lionel has collaborated to create the Pokémon Winter Express, a limited-edition Pokémon Center-exclusive electric model train set. They describe it as:
‘[a] luxurious locomotive features a plethora of Pokémon, from Pikachu, Eevee, and Snorlax, to Powerhouse Pokémon like Metagross, Garchomp, and Goodra—plus the first partner Pokémon from Paldea! Engineered for endless fun, this first-class set includes everything you need to set up and control your very own model train.’
For all your wrapping needs, there are some truly fantastic varieties of wrapping paper, gift tabs, gift bags and even different sized gift boxes!
The gift tags are stickers, making them really easy just to stick onto any shaped present and write your message on. The pixel style ones are so cute, and the more geometric ones have matching wrapping paper too!
Got a ghost-type trainer in your life? Just because it’s Christmas, doesn’t mean you can’t be spooky! I personally would love to receive gifts wrapped in this amazing paper.
The bubble Mew themed range might be the sweetest designs ever! Delicate and soft and lovely, and available in everything in gift boxes, greeting cards and wrapping paper. You could do a whole theme!
The main theme with the tropical inspired range is also featured prominently, with an array of bright colours and fun designs.
