It’s Nintendo – at the very most, they will include gen 1-3 on one cartridge. Maybe even just FRLG and RS. No emerald.
Then they’ll release a part two which has the Ds games. 3DS games will never get a vc style release.
It’s more likely Nintendo will release a cheap accessory that allows the switch 2 to be held vertically for Ds gameplay.

In the 90's Pokémon was the BEST open world game on the Earth. Watching the series alongside the new games was amazing. My first game was Yellow 💛 when it came out.
I have all these games on a Everdrive. I play them between an actual Non Missed GBC and the Analogue Pocket.
Anybody thinking that these games will all come out on one "cartridge" is deluded. Nintendo will sell pokemon games as they always have and always will. Individually. Have fun buying them all, all over again.

There will definitely be a TCg set, there always is for milestones.
Also they should have bring in and upgrade the Nintendo switch 2 with a dual screen if the rumors of that are true.
with crystal and emerald, i don't see any reason for the classic collection to contain gold and silver nor ruby and sapphire. Crystal is just pretty much upgraded version that still is just the same game and emerald is just ruby and sapphire with different character headwear color and actual end game content. Emerald itself is just 99% the same game as ruby and sapphire.
I may be nostalgia biased, but i still think the og gsc is still somewhat better than the gen 4 ds remakes
I would definitely buy that on the Nintendo switch 1 on digital. If the rumor is true on that. Bring back heartgold and crystal version back my Pokemon games were definitely taken place in the jhoto and kanto. I would definitely buy on the Nintendo switch 1 along with black and white 1 and 2. Also I did buy black and white 2 back then.
They're probably gonna be dropped slowly onto NSO throughout this year. Would love to see a Pokemon compilation release physically on the Switch though.

We’ll be lucky to get a rerelease of red and blue for $70 each. Js what we all already know.
Wild prediction:
Pokemon Ash Gray (Maybe second title too)
Graphics are the same as Fire Red/Leaf Green.
Start in Kanto, following original story of Pokemon Yellow. Finish the Elite Four, and then you go to Johto, and have to get those 8 badges also. After getting 16 badges, you gotta beat the elite four, with the Johto leaders. Then you're able to go to Hoenn and must complete the 8 badges there. Beat the Elite 4 again with the Hoenn crew. Now it's off to the Islands from FR/LG. With 24 Badges, and a few side quests done, you now are called to investigate Mt. Silver, where you then face a new challenger; Crystal/Chris (Boy or Girl, opposite of your choice) Once you beat them, you're to collect the pokedexes of the three regions, each researcher gives you a master ball for completing their set of 8 Gyms, and a Kanto/Johto/Hoenn card for each Pokédex region you complete.
