New Strategy, 4X, RTS, turn-based, tactics, AND city builder games are on the menu today as we explore some new Gamescom 2025 games, and some other recent strategy game developments with this list of my hotly anticipated, upcoming strategy games for 2025 & 2026! I thought the rest of this year was going to be a little slow, but it turns out there are loads of new upcoming strategy and simulation games! Gamescom 2025 delivered about half of the announcements and new games in this video. From city builders like Anno 117: Pax Romana, to the heights of Europa Universalis 5’s grand strategy, to indie gems, and every new strategy game announcement that has captured my interest in between – here are some new strategy games, and some new demos to try! I wonder if it’s worth mentioning that relic entertainment aren’t in charge of the new Dawn of War game and how it will affect what is produced. Either way, I’m excited for mostly all of these titles
I love Tropico but difficult game, i never succeded to finish the game after modern cycle.

Hey my friend. Hope you are doing well. Please take a look at the new rts game (red chaos the strict order) a lot of improvements have done on the an now it looks and feels much better than before.
Audio, Grafic, dynamic, gameplay, more units, Veteranic status. And they are also pro gamer on Board.

A very important lesson I have learned from board games, if at all possible, "Try it, before you buy it." To me, free demos are awesome as my finances are limited. Buying a hyped game only to discovered it is a polished turd covered with sprinkles is highly annoying.

I'm most excited about Tropico 7 and Surviving Mars Re-launched (surprisingly). I hope that they add some of the features fans have been requesting in Tropico 7 like more types of roads and public transportation. I would normally say that its too early for a remaster, but the the proposed bugfixes and new content in Surviving Mars has me interested. I am a huge fan of Anno , but I don't think 117 will eclipse 1800 for me yet, as I am not as interested in the Roman time period as I am the industrial revolution.
After listening to the dev interviews for DoW4 I'm very optimistic about it. Could be a return to the golden age of great RTS games.
What worries me most about EU5 are the recommended system requirements, especially the CPU.
I'm not sure you will be able to purchase the original Surviving Mars once Surviving Mars Relaunched has been released

I started out liking Anno 1800, then the supply chain started fluctuating just a bit and everything started falling apart. I hope this isn't the same.
