I think for a “full revamp” it’s still missing some huge parts of being a pro hockey player. You should be able if you want to, to play a full chl or Europe season. Then play a full world junior tournament mid season. Once your in the nhl they could have it be possible to make the four nations or World Cup team, make an all-star game, maybe even if your team doesn’t make playoffs you could play in the world championships. Even with the changes that EA made this year it’s still gonna feel like a grind instead of working towards anything fun
I’m someone who casually plays NHL when it comes to gamepass and I spend most of my time in the career mode and seeing it finally get some love is good to see, although I do feel like EA picks and chooses which game to put effort into FC26’s career mode still has the same cutscene from the last 3 games after you create your player.
I just didnt like how the player would responed to the coach like the "sure whatever" and what not in be a pro and in franchise mode i wosb they did more to franchise in nhl 26 cause 25 was a big bust it sucked i think they ober hyped it way too much!

No contract negotiations may be the biggest L, even BASIC negotiations would be amazing.
Imagine if they actually did the full 9 yards? No Move / Trade Clauses, holding out a year if you don’t come to terms, sign and trades, RFA rights actually meaning anything, salary arbitration. Would be a game changer
i really hope that this year's game reflects a larger and more comprehensive iteration.
Playing a full season in europe or chl, then playing a full world juniors before getting drafted is what we want…

I remember you used to be able to be sent to the AHL in NHL 14 so don’t think that this is nothing “new”. They’re just bringing it back to make it seem like they did something.
Playing 2 games in the world juniors is so, so, so lame…
You should get sponsored by brands. Start with generic. They should also build attributes into sticks, skates, etc. like they used to instead of everything being skins. Also let you pick all protective, shoulders, shins, elbows, etc.

It sounds good but obvious concerns on how well they did it. And we need more presentation with the skip option for all 32 teams in franchise and quick play or play now whatever its called if ur playing with a friend or ur kids or parents at home. Presentation can go a long way to bring players back and for family fun as well as us who love to play regularly
No its trash. I Hope we will get some news for franchise mode, better more similar generic faces like in FC, goalie mask creator, new likenesses, pic uploader for self created players ( rid of black silhouettes ), more cutscenes during the game incl. Individual staristics seen. Team offers from other teams.
If they really revamped this mode and brought in a lot of new changes, I think the reveal video would’ve been longer than 3 Minutes. Sadly, I think it is going to be a slight enhancement. I also have no idea why they will not connect Be a Pro to EASHL.

I hope in the future they add if you want to continue on the save you are on but with a new player so you can try and be better or whatever than that player. Or maybe see that number in rafters, and maybe become a coach or something after you retire would be really cool.
