The game stays true to its punishing roots, while introducing a new hero mode and adjustable assists that can ease newcomers into its signature high-speed combat. A stand-alone training mode—a first in the series—lets players sharpen their skills before diving into battle.

Might be a dumb question. But will we able to play with Ryu as well ? I want assume yes since the other NG games you played with another character at one point. Or will there be a 2 story mode? One with the new character’s journey and one with Ryu’s journey??

Seems like Ryu won't be in this game a whole lot. I think I'm going to wait on this one. The weapons are getting away from what made Ninja Gaiden cool in the first place. They're over-the-top and borderline ridiculous. They seem to be straying away from the core of Ninja Gaiden. Just my opinion that no one asked for. Hopefully I am wrong.
I hope this time around it's not the same repetitive sword moves .
