NVIDIA is preparing a fresh round of DLSS and RTX Spark software updates as RTX Spark laptops begin shipping on the 16th of October, with DLSS 5 receiving the most notable improvements.
A faster DLSS 5 model arrives on the 16th of October, using a 3D‑Guided Neural Rendering approach that can lift frame rates by up to 1.4x in NBA 2K27 Season 2 on supported RTX GPUs and upcoming RTX Spark systems. More DLSS 5 integrations are on the way: Hogwarts Legacy adds support on the 5th of November, while Where Winds Meet is scheduled to receive an update later in the month. RTX Remix will also gain DLSS 5 support on the 23rd of October, alongside new AI‑assisted texture‑generation tools.
NVIDIA is expanding RTX Spark software support ahead of launch, with updated local‑AI tools, new agent integrations and fresh creative‑app optimisations rolling out across the ecosystem. Updates to Broadcast, ComfyUI and Adobe Creative Cloud are already available, and new Nemotron 3.5 Bolt models aimed at local AI agents and conversational workloads are arriving throughout October.
Several DLSS‑accelerated games are also landing this week. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Early Access begins on the 16th of October with DLSS 4.5, while Crossout Remastered’s DLSS 4.5 update arrives on the 22nd of October. Among the Trolls, Gear.Club Unlimited 3, Permafrost, Pax Autocratica and ARC Raiders have also added DLSS or enhanced RTX features. NVIDIA has additionally updated the NVIDIA App beta with a new Preset C mode for DLSS Frame Generation on RTX 40 Series, RTX 50 Series and RTX Spark laptops.
KitGuru Says: Are you looking forward to seeing DLSS 5 in more games? NBA 2K27 was a good starting point, so now it will be interesting to see how much of an effect it has on the likes of Hogwarts Legacy and Where Winds Meet.
