One Piece: 6 Devil Fruits That Rival Yamato’s Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami

The Wano arc of One Piece showed some of the greatest and most creative powers in the entire series. From incredibly strong Mythical Zoan powers to deceptively useful Paramecia abilities, this story arc was filled to the brim with some of the best powers that have ever been shown in the story so far.

Among these was Yamato’s Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami, which gave them the incredible powers of a legendary guardian deity of Wano. However, despite its amazing strength, there are some Devil Fruits in One Piece that perfectly match it, so let’s take a look at what these are.

One Piece Is Fixing Logia Devil Fruits With Monkey D. Dragon

Logia Devil Fruits have fallen in importance in One Piece, but they could be fixed with Monkey D. Dragon.

The Uo Uo no Mi Had An Even Match With It

User: Kaido

To be fair, there is a point of contention here. In the Wano arc, Kaido and Yamato fought on a relatively equal footing in their hybrid forms while using their masterful Haki. Although this fight was equal and truly showed the power of the Okuchi no Makami fruit, Kaido was completely drunk and had just come off from fighting many others non-stop, so their battle wasn’t entirely fair. Still, though, Yamato and Kaido proved to be equals in this bout.

The Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix Can Heal Infinitely

User: Marco

Marco the Pheonix is one of the most revered pirates of the modern era who made his name serving as Whitebeard’s First Mate. As he showed by fighting King and Queen by himself, the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix is an incredibly powerful Devil Fruit that not only gives Marco the ability to fly and fight at blistering speeds, but the blue flames that he creates can heal any of his injuries almost infinitely. From this, it can be seen that this is more than a match for Yamato’s fruit.

The Pika Pika no Mi Is The Fastest Devil Fruit

User: Kizaru

While it may not be able to match the Okuchi no Makami Devil Fruit from an offensive standpoint, Kizaru’s Pika Pika no Mi makes him the single fastest character in all of One Piece. This is because his Devil Fruit is a Logia that allows him to manipulate light, which is why he can travel at the speed of light. A fight between him and Yamato would be amazing to see.

The Hie Hie no Mi Has Similar Powers

User: Kuzan

Out of every person on this list, a hypothetical battle between Yamato and Kuzan would be the most interesting to see, considering how both of them have Devil Fruits that can manipulate ice. Although not as powerful as Akainu’s Magu Magu no Mi, the Hie Hie no Mi is more than a match for Yamato’s own fruit as its ability to create ice and ice constructs is on a far greater level than what the latter offers, making a fight between them incredibly interesting.

One Piece Is Expanding The Lore Behind Devil Fruit Creation In Elbaph

One Piece’s Devil Fruits originate from the Second World, and Nerona Imu’s Akuma no Mi reveal in Elbaph sheds light on their creation.

The Zushi Zushi no Mi Allows The Manipulation Of Gravity

User: Fujitora

In just about any fictional series, the ability to manipulate gravity is always seen as overpowered. In One Piece, this trend doesn’t change, as Admiral Fujitora is one of the story’s most powerful characters due to his ability to control gravity to any extent that he wants, which would prove to be an incredible challenge to Yamato. Even a fight with their weapons would be very interesting to see.

The Mori Mori no Mi Kept Yamato At Bay

User: Ryokugyu

Just like with Kaido, Ryokugyu has already fought against Yamato. Similarly, fans argue that Yamato wasn’t at full strength in this battle, which is why they lost. However, the Admiral took on Yamato, the Red Scabbards, King, and Queen all at once, so others think that the overall fight was ultimately fair due to this disadvantage. In any case, it can be seen that, at the very least, the Mori Mori no Mi is a superb match for Yamato’s own Devil Fruit.
