Rocket League dataminers have found a reference to One Piece that all but confirms the highly requested collab is coming to both Rocket League and Fortnite.
As the current gaming season (and pretty much every season, really) proves, Fortnite is no stranger to big crossovers. Video games, TV shows, movies, and anime properties get added to the game very frequently, and it seems like there’s no limit (for better and worse) to what Epic Games will consider crossing over with.
Even with all of that in mind, though, there’s one particular collab that stands out as easily one of the most requested: One Piece. With Dragon Ball, Naruto, My Hero Academia, and more already in the game, Oda’s masterpiece seemed like a no-brainer for Fortnite and, after a long few years of it reportedly happening, it looks like it’s nearly upon us.
Rocket League Datamine Points To Long-Awaited Fortnite And One Piece Collab
Insiders Are Reporting That It Will Be A Mini-Season
Over on Twitter, reliable Rocket League dataminer SamLeakss dropped a bombshell on fans by reporting that the rumoured One Piece collab is finally on the horizon. The insider found an official description within Rocket League’s files that is almost one-to-one with Gol D. Roger’s iconic speech that kicks off the whole series.
As with every Rocket League leak, this also means that One Piece will be coming to Fortnite, as both games usually have the same collaborations at the same time, just with some unique elements to set them apart. SamLeakss and other Fortnite insiders are reporting that the crossover is coming in November and will likely be a mini-season.
Sadly, we don’t have much else about what could be included in the One Piece collab, but it’s a pretty easy one to imagine. Get all the Straw Hat Pirates in there alongside a few other key players, some Devil Fruit mythics, and a Going Merry vehicle, and you’re pretty much set. Just don’t make it exclusively based on the live-action Netflix series…
