Ok, Capcom, you do remember other games from your past. This looks really good. I beat the other 4 games so many times back then. I can't wait for next year to get here to add this to the list.
Looks awesome… but those voice actors are horrible.. i prefer the original Japanese voices
And this is why I play in the original language. I can't take a British voice for the greatest Japanese swordsman to ever live seriously

I just NOW found out they're making a new Onimusha game…This game series means a lot to me as I grew up playing these games from Warlords through Dawn of Dreams. I am beyond excited for this release next year! It looks really good and from what I can tell the modern graphics mix well with the game. I can't believe we're getting a new Onimusha game šIt's been 20 long years! And to top that all off the Onimusha 2 Remaster just dropped. This day can't get any better lol.

I donāt recall the main character being funny , this is supposed to be a dark gritty game but if coarse no one can have their feelings hurt so onimisha has to be a comedian now.

This is not a soul like game. Someone did say that earlier. And now looking at it. It's exactly the same as the other onimushas. You wont drop your keep and gotta risk it all to go get it much like elden ring, dark souls, bloodborne, nioh1-2. Uh sekreio however its spelled. So im glad they didn't make theirs a souls game. it plays a little different because its in the modern times. Remember last onimusha was 2006s dawn of dreams. 20 years of gaming resolution being so detailed. What a better time to release a new onimusha

I love Onimusha but this just doesn't look like Onimusha. I'll tell you why…
Combat looks more like Assasin's Creed or Dark Souls with 20 enemies.
English dub is wtf, unironically laughed out loud when I heard his voice.
Too many particle effects are taking away from the dark drama the original captured.
The change to make the character comedic is an odd choice to appeal to a new audience most likely.

Okay, if someone has made this theory already then I apologizeā¦..but giving the comedic tone and arrogance of the main protagonistā¦.what if this game is an inter-quel and takes place after Onimusha 1 but before part 2 and this is the origin of Gogandantes!
