Sony has announced October’s new batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles. This month’s update brings a mix of major first‑party releases, new indies and returning favourites, headlined by Mafia: The Old Country and Horizon Forbidden West.
Mafia: The Old Country is one of the standout additions. Set in 1900s Sicily, this new entry in the Mafia series follows Enzo Favara as he rises through the ranks of the Family. The game promises a gritty, cinematic story set against the backdrop of early organised crime, complete with period weapons, vendettas and turn‑of‑the‑century motorcars. Horizon Forbidden West also joins the catalogue, giving subscribers access to Aloy’s critically acclaimed sequel across both PS5 and PS4.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also gain access to two new classics this month, including Dino Crisis 2 (PS5, PS4) and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition (PS5, PS4).
