Pokémon GO Ancients Recovered Event Guide

Before Pokémon GO Fest: Global, a free-to-play raid event called Ancients Recovered will occur. Ancients Recovered brings back all of the “Regi” Pokémon with featured attacks and shinies via raids.

The following bonuses will be active from Monday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, June 27, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time:

Raids

The following Pokémon will be available to raid battle and capture during the event period:

Monday, June 23

Tuesday, June 24

Wednesday, June 25

Thursday, June 26

Friday, June 27

All of these Pokémon will be capturable in 5-star raids, their shinies will be available during the event period and each Pokémon will also have guaranteed access to the following moves:

• Regirock will know the Charged Attack Earthquake. 
• Regice will know the Charged Attack Thunder. 
• Registeel will know the Charged Attack Zap Cannon. 
• Regieleki will know the Charged Attack Thunder Cage. 
• Regidrago will know the Fast Attack Dragon Breath. 
• Regidrago will know the Charged Attack Dragon Energy. 
• Regigigas will know the Charged Attack Crush Grip.

Max Raids

The following Pokémon will be available as 6-star max raid battles during the event period:

Timed Research

Trainers around the world will be able to work together to complete a Global Challenge during the event! If the challenge is completed in time, all Trainers will benefit from the following bonuses until the end of the 2025 global GO Fest event!

Premier Balls will be more effective at catching Pokémon after raids.
Party Power will charge faster in raids.

Please note that the Ancients Recovered Global Challenge will run from Sunday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (20:00 UTC) to June 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (20:00 UTC).

Timed Research

Legendary giants raid–themed Timed Research will be available throughout the event! Complete the research tasks to earn encounters with the following Pokémon:

Trainers will be given a surprise choice after completing the research, and can finish the research multiple times to go for every Pokémon!

Paid Timed Research

Timed Research will also be available for US$7.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). This Timed Research will give Trainers tasks focused on exploration and
catching Pokémon. It will reward the following:

• Encounters with Galarian Zapdos
• Encounters with Galarian Moltres
• Encounters with Galarian Articuno

Note that timed researches have deadlines and must be completed before the event period expires.

Starting June 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. PDT,

• For US$4.99, the GO Fest Ultra Storage Box will feature one Item Bag upgrade, one Pokémon Storage upgrade, one Remote Raid Pass, one Premium Battle Pass, one Incubator, and one Super Incubator.
• For US$7.99, the GO Fest Battle Box will feature 10 Premium Battle Passes, three Remote Raid Passes, one Max Particle Pack, and one Silver Pinap Berry.
• For US$19.99, the GO Fest Ultra Raid Box will feature 40 Premium Battle Passes and three Remote Raid Passes
• For US$39.99, the GO Fest Hatcher Box will feature 25 Incubators, 30 Super Incubators, and two Poffins.
