Looks an awful lot like Dragon Quest Builders (funnily enough, not even the first time this company has stolen its entire gameplay premise from DQ, Capsule monsters were NOT Nintendo's idea) and the company nintendo is trying to sue literally brought this game out already. This is why I tell everyone around me not to support these absolute monsters. What a shameful display of greed and just plain scumminess by this company the last 5 years.

To me it looks like failed Pokémon transfer. Or Ditto was transfered to trainer, but trainer is no longer here. I hope this will be explained in the game. Does somebody have theory how Ditto ended there?
